What you'll do

Make your own yarn with a spindle. I'll teach you how to spin mallorcan sheep wool from the preparation of fibres to the yarn. I'll show you some tricks to obtain a perfect yarn.
We'll card the fibres at first. Then I will give you some information about spinning and mallorcan wool. And finally we'll spin.
The process to obtain a skein depends on each person. Some people learn to spin in a hour, but I prefer to spend a little more time working together in order to solve all doubts and obtain excellent results.
This is the material you'll have to work:
* 100gr mallorcan sheep wool
* 1 wooden spindle (made by me)

The workshop will be at my home.

Where you'll be

The workshop will be at home. I live on a ground floor in Consell, a small town near the Sierra de la Tramuntana. This town has the last manufacturers of espardeñas (espadrilles) and vineyards and wineries to visit.
