What you'll do

Our guests will get to observe how to make a dosa( made of rice flour) and try making one as well. You will be served idli, dosa, sambar( made from lentils) and chutney. This will be very homestyle and will taste subtler than what is served in an Indian restaurant. We will serve our guests choice of Indian coffee ( comes with milk)/chai as an option.
If our guests are interested we would love to drape you with our sarees and take pictures.Just bring a crop top/ t shirt to serve as the blouse. Each experience would be of a duration of two hours. This will be proper authentic South Indian Tamil homestyle experience. The location where this will be hosted will be at a downtown apartment.
Lemme know your spice tolerance/ allergies/ vegan/ vegetarian etc.

Vandhana was such a lovely and welcoming host! Her and her friend both made me feel like family. They taught me about each dish, the ingredients, and about Indian culture as well. The food was AMAZING. They had thoughtful touches to the experience like being able to wear a Sari and welcoming the guest into the home. I left knowing I made new friends in Toronto :)
