What you'll do

We will meet at the service station in front of the Mendoza bus terminal to depart on an hour-long trip to the department of Lavalle. Eduardo, who has a professional driver's license, will drive in his transport company. You will visit the typical Desert Dunes found in the Altos Limpios Nature Reserve, 90 km from the city of Mendoza. Later we will know the Natural Reserve of the Teleteca Forest. We will go to the village of roots of native peoples, the huarpes, the towns of "Asunción" and "Cavadito". You will do a 30-minute walk, knowing the flora and fauna typical of the drylands, with the explanation of Noelia. If you arrive on August 17 and 18 there will be typical religious festivals, dances and traditional meals. And during the rest of the year, we will know the customs and the way to organize the city.
Along the way we will appreciate the native flora and fauna, as well as the culture and history of the huarpes peoples that they contain.
And we will finish the trip tasting fried cakes served by a typical gaucho and huarpe. There you will get to know the typical customs and the main economic activity of subsistence of the cattlemen, the goat rearing. You can try everything they offer you, like Chivo a la llama and Empanadas, in addition to the typical fried cakes that we will invite you.

Every weekend we visit the mountain villages of the High Mountain Mendoza as a couple, with friends or family, we enjoy exquisite roasts on the river bank, we drink mate, we do training and we practice kayaking when the temperature allows it.
We love the landscape of the Uco Valley and visit its wineries, or simply drink mate enjoying its landscapes.
