What you'll do

Learn to read and write Korean alphabet

We'll meet in the lobby of Lotte City Hotel Myungdong and move to Coffee Hanyakbang (커피한약방) and get to know each other over a cup of coffee.

We'll then move to a quiet space so we can concentrate on learning to read and write Korean alphabet.
You'll learn to read and write Korean with the help of materials.

We'll end with making postcards (or cards) with Korean alphabet stamps that you can take home and give to friends and family. You can of course use handwriting as well.

Once you take this Experience, you will be able to read street signs and subway station names.
This experience is not only useful when getting around Korea, but you will make the most of your stay in Korea!

Please note that this is not learning how to "speak" Korean.

The experience learning Hangul with Hyelim was great! She was kind, punctual and very patient. She also has great taste in chocolate and coffee. We met at a very niche spot that had an excellent cup with a very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. And for me, the hours flew by as I learned about the history of 한글 and practiced pronouncing and writing Jamo. It's a must if you've just landed.
