A private fishing trip for Peacock Bass and occasionally Snook or Tarpon combined with a stop at the Monkey Island in the Gamboa region represents a unique experience for a day tour excursion from Panama-City. The meeting point will be the Gamboa public dock early morning 7:30-8am is a good timing to explore the fauna and fish! You will have to leave your hotels 45 minutes prior the agreed time at the Gamboa Public dock which is the time for the ride in Taxi or Uber. The fare shouldn’t be more than 20 dollars. If needed, I can organize the transport for you
The fishing equipment is standard, we fish with live baits (minnows) and will be doing some trolling on our way to the different fishing spot. You are welcome to take your own fishing equipment, poppers for peacock bass works fine. I highly recommend this experience. The scenery was amazing. We saw tons of wildlife, and we had a great time fishing. (also - everyone in our group caught multiple fish!) Miguel was a great host and I cannot say enough about how accommodating he was. He customized a trip for me and my family and rearranged his schedule so that we could book a day/time that worked best for us.
