What you'll do

Check out my Instagram at @belfastbiketours.co.uk

We’ll meet in the vibrant Titanic Quarter to get on our bikes and head off to experience Belfast
We’ll check out the titanic slipways, a world war 1 battle ship and a 1970’s floating disco which used to ferry passengers to the Titanic itself. Not forgetting to stop for snaps at a Game of Thrones filming location.

Over the River Lagan to kiss the big fish (salmon of Knowledge) and see Belfast’s own leaning tower.

We’ll head in to Belfast’s hot spot, the Cathedral Quarter, and stop for some photos with some of the worlds best street art.
Through the city center to see the magnificent city hall where I’ll tell which African City has the the exact same building within it.
To one of Belfast’s oldest pubs and the most bombed hotel on the planet. ( It’s unlikely to happen again anytime soon)

Heading south we reach the beautiful Belfast Botanical Gardens, Victorian era Palm House and Queens University.
We reach the Lagan again and ride along, city bound, taking in the scenes along the way.
One of our last stops will be the sumptuous St George’s market. The smells, tastes and sites will be unforgettable so we’ll take some time to sample as much as we can here.

Not every experience will be the same and I can accommodate guests if there is something they really want to see or don’t wish to.

I’ve lived and cycled around Belfast for over 30 years, I’m in love with the City that has shaped me and I want to share it with as many people as I can.

Growing up 5 minutes from the city centre and studying in the heart of Belfast has fed my fascination with the troubled history, the architecture and with the transformation to become a city of cultural significance, a modern, friendly, welcoming place.

Having lived, studied and worked in Belfast’s centre, a background in racing bikes has given me a unique view of the city. There is so much fun to enjoy off the beaten track which few tourists get a chance to see. My aim is to bring the vibrant culture and unique sites to the fore, in places not accessible on other tours and the best way to see Belfast is by bike, you will be able to feel the city.

Fab way to explore the city and understand how’s it all connected - great to do at the start of a trip to get ideas for where to explore later. Was ideal for us only having 24 hours here to see as much as possible. David was a lovely guy and delightful host! Highly recommend.

We only had a day in Belfast so wanted to see as much as possible - there is no better way to do this. We travelled through the full history of Belfast going down streets we wouldn’t have found on our own. David was very relaxed and approachable - we really enjoyed it

David was the perfect host to discover Belfast, some of the key locations and a bit of story. A very enjoyable journey and with a multitude of interesting data that it provided us. Also, he had all the equipment prepared and even a package to ensure hygienic measures in these times that we live in. We ended falling in love with the city thanks to his approach and we will definitely come back again in the future. And I'll start to search for bike tours anytime I travel in the future.

The experience was absolutely delightful. It had been years since I hadn't ridden a bike, but as they say, you never forget! The communication with David was excellent before the experience, and he reassured me it would all be just fine, and right he was! I felt safe and we had a brilliant time. He was very accommodating with every need we had on our tour and very easy to talk to, just as if you were talking to an old friend. The tour was beautiful, and both my boyfriend and I fell in love with Belfast. What a different and unique way of visiting a city! David and his experience made us want to visit Belfast again, and we are now buying bikes for sure :) Thank you David for your great sense of humour and hospitality. We are definitely recommending your 5 star experience to everyone we know. Muchas gracias y muy buena suerte con todo, David :)
