What you'll do

Tune into nature and to your inner self with a short mindful walk followed by a meditation session. Outside on beautiful and wild Dartmoor; each week will explore a different location and theme in a light yet engaged way.

Shake off the busy-ness and freneticism of daily life through mindfulness, engaging with nature and getting back in touch with your true essence. Take in the fresh air, tranquillity and ruggedness of the Moors. Zone out from technology for a short time. Connect with nature, yourself and the community of a group. Benefit from the higher level of focus and energy created when meditating with others. Feel calm, refreshed, centred and grounded.

Gemma has been practising being tuned in to body, mind and spirit for 20 years through practising yoga, physical theatre and improvisation, through meditation and reading widely. She has been a facilitator of groups and training courses for 15 years and including some time as a University Associate Lecturer.

Sally is a nurturing and warm-hearted soul and has been on her spiritual journey for 40 years. She has had a consistent meditation practice for over 20 years and is dedicated to spiritual life. FAETC P1 qualified and an experienced teacher. Interested in and knowledgeable about a diverse range of areas within spirituality.

Where you'll be

We will be walking in a different location on Dartmoor for each week of the six weeks that the programme will be operating. Each place is beautiful and distinct from the others.
