What you'll do

Let's go to see the wonderful view of Seto inland sea!
We start from JR Takamatsu station by bicycle, and hike to the view point on the mountain that you can not go on a group tour. We meet at JR Takamatsu station, then go by rental bicycles. It's about 4 hours course.

Mt. Yashima is located in the eastern pat of Takamatsu city. It's a wide long mountain shaped like a roof. You can see the islands in Seto inland sea and Honshu main island from the view point "Yu-kaku-tei".
Mt. Yashima is known as a battlefield of so-called "Genpei no Kassen" the big war in the 12th century.

I will explain about the islands in Seto inland sea after we arrive at "Yu-kaku-tei".

We will go to the cape "Nagasaki-no-hana" after we climb down the mountain. There is a gate to a shrine so-called "Torii" on the slope of the cape... There is a sandy beach, but it's not so beautiful, no good for swimming.

We use Takamatsu municipal rental bicycles (city bike without gear shift). There is a little uphill road on the way to the Mountain trail entrance, but please don't worry, we go slowly. Mt. Yashima is not so difficult to climb, but please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are easy to walk in.

People over 18 years old can join this activity.

This activity may be cancelled due to rain or strong wind. In case of cancellation, I will let you know by 9 a.m. on that day through the Airbnb message.
