I have spent 20 years as a wildlife guide in the Northwest of Scotland which I have come to know very well. It is a fantastic beautiful remote area with a wealth of wildlife and dramatic scenery. I know some of the best places to visit for a first class experience as I have been monitoring and observing wildlife for many years.

About the organisation: High Life Highland

High Life Highland is a charity registered in Scotland, it was formed to develop and promote opportunities in culture, learning, sport, leisure, health and wellbeing throughout the whole of the Highlands for both residents and visitors. This includes providing outdoor activity experience and environmental education.

This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to High Life Highland.

Where you'll be

Starting at a quiet remote spot near a small highland village we will proceed across the slopes towards the sea to a small cave, onwards and upwards [a little] to the next bay and another cave. Taking in the vast sea view and distant hills we come to a secret den hidden below the cliffs and to a series of small pools frequented by otters which play and wash in the freshwater. We return contentedly over the hill passing more otter paths en route.
