What you'll do

I will be providing all guests (age 7+ recommended) with bee suites, taking them through a short stroll of the farm, and then opening the beehive to explore their habitat. I have been interested in bees and their detrimental decline in the population for the past 5 years. I was finally brave enough to start two hives in the past 2 years and have more than tripled the growth of my bees on the farm. I have exhausted all resources in learning their activity, importance to our community, and ways in which to keep them thriving. I have also started making products with the beeswax; candles, lotion, and lip balm.

The experience was simply magical! I wish I could post the videos and photos my family and I took on this beautiful trip! Rebekah and her family are truly heaven sent! Rebekah took her time and gave my family and me an in-depth crash course to the secret life of the bees. The tour was safe, and Rebekah made it her duty to keep us all calm around her baby bees. Her communication was quick and effective. We had trouble booking one of the reservations for our fourth family member online, but Rebekah made accommodations. She helped us with directions when we had trouble finding her bee farm, and even gave my mother a pair of socks/boots for the tour. They took our photos (and we wanted a lot), gave us a jar of divine honey, and each one of us a homemade lip balm as promised. Rebekah and her daughter made us feel so special, taken care of, and are the definition of southern hospitality! I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Rebekah and her family were extremely welcoming. It was a fun day trip to get out of the city. She seemed passionate about the bees and gave us a ton of insight about how they live. The honey was so sweet (straight from the hive), and the beeswax lip balm was moisturizing! Definitely would recommend!
