What you'll do

You will learn how to make the nerikiri dough using rice flour, the filling (chestnut/ red bean/ black sesame), coloring your dough as well as basic shaping techniques. After the class, you can eat your own creation with matcha tea or bring home. We use blue mountains spring water in our food making classes.

An ex vegan cafe owner and published author of three books including a cookbook. I also teach raw food, vegetarian and vegan food making classes on Meetup Group in Epping.

Wagashi (和菓子) are traditional Japanese confections that are often served with matcha Japanese green tea and are typically made from plant-based ingredients inspired by Nature.

You will learn how to color your dough and create different tones, hues and shares as well as make three different designs. Class ends with matcha tea and Wagashi dessert.

All ingredients are plant based, vegan and natural.
