What you'll do

Pick up at 7.30-745. Stop for breakfast in San Jose de Maipo town in a magical place. We go to a rout called Alfalfal to los Maitenes where our trek starts. We do some stretching. This trek has an extension of 5 km with a moderate inclination, during the walk we can see petroglyphs of cultures prehispánica of great patrimonial value. In the middle of the way we get to se much green and and an amazing view of the valley.
From this point there is the last section to reach the viewpoint. We enter this rocky valley until we reach the viewpoint, with an incredible view, with a cliff that houses many condors. We sit on a giant rock to contemplate the landscape. At approximately 13.00, the condors arrive because it´s lunch time for them. They always let themselves be seen, and hopefully they fly over us at a short impressive distance leaving us breathless. We take a break, eat rich and protein snacks, and begin the descent.

I am co-founder of the beautiful company Chilexplora Travel, where I practice several activities daily. Communications have been my greatest professional experience for years, so I have the title of Director of Communications in my company, in which we also have an important tourist magazine: Chilexplora, and we are part of the Chilean Association of Tourism Journalists and the Chamber of Tourism of the Cajon del Maipo. Involved in my business, the mountain has become my destiny in love. I work with Paulo, Andrea, Jesus and Mayara, also experts and lovers of the Andes. The magic of the Cordillera caught me and now I relate communications, hiking and contact with nature filling me with life day by day. Relating with people from the mountain that is not little what they teach me.
