As a vigorous storyteller, an armchair historian, and a tour guide in Boston for over a decade, I've fallen in love with this city; particularly the captivating sites and stories that are off the beaten path. If you want to see glimpses of this quirky town from the perspective of a true local...I've got some "wicked awesome" stories for you!

Where you'll be

We will tour Charlestown, and I will provide a history that is not to be found in most guide books.

I will give the story of the "Big Dig" from a local's perspective.

I will show you the "Insider's" view of the North End

I will detail a side of Faneuil Hall and Boston Massacre that only a few know.

Johnny was amazing! He really went the extra mile to make my family feel special and to make Boston come alive. You can tell Johnny loves the city and the history behind it. He was very confident and enthusiastic about the histories and stories which he shared. It was the personal touches of fielding questions or digging deeper without feeling like he had to meet a time hack that made the journey rewarding. The earpieces to hear him really helped when we moved into Boston proper over the bustling noises of the city. I would/will recommend to all to take Johnny up on his telling the story of Boston.

Jonny provides a wonderful account of American history and stories of Boston. We highly recommend this tour. Jonny’s style is friendly and informal. He is very knowledgeable and has an obvious passion for all things historical and Bostonian. He gave us great hints about great eating spots and we are now tucking into the best pizza ever! If you have a chance do Jonny’s tour and you will be well oriented to Boston highlights and history.
