What you'll do

Our adventure begins with an explanation about indigenous culture Huetar and the Spanish conquest. Later we continue with a tour to know the most representative places of the Reserve, such as the “Urú” meditation center, the ceremonial altar, the sacred tombs and a visit to the “Temazcal” which represents a place of encounter with the Gods. We will also know the healing tree which helps us to heal when we embrace it and a healing heap where they sacrificed the serpents to use their blood and thus remove the evil spirits. As part of the practical and memorable activities we will have the opportunity to carry out stone-ground workshops with corn, crafts, clay and also the bow and arrow. With this visit "we want to show the people of the city that the human race can carry out its adventure while keeping nature alive".

Where you'll be

Only 32 km from the city of San José, specifically in the west, is the state of Mora. We were are going to visit a Quitirrisi Indigenous Reserve. A large part of this population are European tourists, and this gives it a multicultural environment. It is also considered one of the safest places in the country. This magical sanctuary will receive you with the calmest airs that come from its vegetation and their life style.
