Where you'll be

The main temporary and permanent exhibitions walk us though the history of Cuba and its main leaders, Fidel Castro, Ernesto “Che” Guevara and Camilo Cienfuegos. Besides, in the back of the building, we will visit the Memorial Granma, opened in 1976. In it we will see interesting pieces of historical value. For instance, Yacht Granma, a boat lead by Fidel Castro that sailed with 82 men from Mexico to Cuba to figth for the island´s independence.

We had Daniel as our tour guide at the Museum of the Revolution. His English was strong, likely from the time he spent in the US few years ago. Daniel was an excellent tour guide and well-versed in Cuban revolutionary history. We were able to see all of the museum, and Daniel added knowledge of the key events of the Revolution that went beyond what was included in the exhibits. One of our group had good understanding of Cuban history, and he was impressed with Daniel's knowledge and presentation. I would strongly recommend Daniel for this tour and for others he offers.

The tour was very knowledgable and interesting, he didn't rush through it and in fact he happily went over time to keep explaining it to us. He then suggested a lovely resturant for lunch where we sat as the tour group with Jeans Manuel joining us and we were able to learn more about the culture

This tour is amazing. It really illustrates the history of the revolution and Cuba. Daniel was our tour guide, he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. He was able to point out things in the museum and in the history that we would have missed if we did not have a guided tour. I literally could have talked with him for hours. I highly recommend this tour if you are interested in learning more about the revolution or the history of Cuba.
