What you'll do

Your nature, history and culture adventure of Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is a must see attraction of Vancouver. We start exploring the park with a little bit history & culture; visiting First Nation carving demos, totem poles before crossing the 460-foot swaying bridge, suspended 230 feet above the Capilano River. The bridge offers splendid views of the river below and old forest. Then we explore some gardens & nature trails of the park, talk about park ecosystem while strolling through the surrounding rainforest. Kids can see and visit the rainbow trout ponds and Raptors Ridge Birds of Prey (summer only).
After this rainforest walking, Treetops Adventure is the next. Treetops Adventure consists of walking on 7 suspension bridges connected to 8 magnificent 250-year-old Douglas fir trees. We will have a unique bird’s eye view of the forest surrounding through observation platforms.
We continue exploring the park by heading back to Suspension Bridge and not for the faint of heart, we will walk on high and narrow Cliffwalk. In some sections, very strong glass is all that separates you from the Capilano canyon far below. We will talk a a little bit about the interaction between water, salmon, flora & fauna before finishing our tour. You are free now to test some of the seafood menu and local craft beers and BC wines on tap there or go to amazing Trading Post Gift Store.

After adventuring, living and working in over 40 countries (Middle East, South East Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa and North America – I have triple citizenship now); I chose to live in North Vancouver as it is a combination of beautiful urban scenery and easy walk through Vancouver’s protected naturally green rainforest. I am an outdoors lover and from most points in the North Vancouver, I am only a few minutes from huge, beautiful densely forested regional parks, rivers and trails. I love to share my passion, experience and knowledge to all nature lover, making them unforgettable memories by showing them secret places and stories that only locals know.
