What you'll do

I'm a co-founder of Sam's Station, a bakery and coffeehouse in Corvallis, Oregon which has been in operation for 27 years. I also own and operate a Bed and Breakfast where I am passionate about baking from scratch using local ingredients. I've been baking for 45 years and love how the process offers so many benefits for people. It's relaxing, social and creative.

Shannon hosted a casual, comfortable, and friendly scone-making experience for my husband and me along with another pair of women who booked the experience separately. The woodsy bed & breakfast setting was beautiful and the home kitchen allowed plenty of room for the four of us to practice a couple scone recipes. In addition to scones, we made butter and lemon curd. Throughout our entire experience, Shannon was intentional, thoughtful, and very friendly. The scones we made were scrumptious and we hope to return at some point for the baguette experience!
