What you'll do

Catch and release on the city’s river with a passionate fisherman

Armed with advanced gear, we’ll hit the banks of the Seine river—where local predator fish like perch, walleye, pike, and giant catfish love their “city” lifestyle. You’ll experience the thrill of the catch, and after a satisfying day of fishing, based on the catch-and-release philosophy, we’ll go to my favorite restaurant for a fish lunch and you’ll get to meet the chef.

After earning a PHD in Environmental Economics, I got caught by a passion for fishing. I own a company focusing on lure fishing tackle and am considered a specialist in fishing in Paris.

Such a great experience. What a unique place to fish, and yes there are fish! Fred is extremely personable and has a great fund of knowledge. I highly recommend this experience to all levels of fishermen.

My husband and two sons had the best "street fishing" experience with Fred. Afterwards we met him for lunch at arguably one of the best lunches of our trip. Fred is not only a fishing expert, he is an excellent lunch companion as well. We have a new friend in Paris. Thank you Fred - that was one for the memory book.

Fisker man langs canal st.
