This lovely, modern studio flat is set in the perfect location just a 10 minute walk from Doncaster station, and the Doncaster Museum & Art Gallery. It is the perfect place for a business traveller, or up to 2 guests to stay whilst exploring the exciting city of Doncaster!
The apartment is located in a private, residential apartment block and sits on the third floor of the building. It is accessible via stairs or elevator, and has large windows bringing in plenty of light throughout the apartment. The studio is furnished with a comfortable double bed, private bathroom, kitchen and living area. LIVING / KITCHEN / DINING As you walk into the studio apartment, the kitchen is immediately on your left-hand side, complete with a narrow breakfast bar. The cupboards are stocked with basic cooking utensils, cutlery and dining ware, so you have everything required to prepare a delicious home-cooked meal. The kitchen is equipped with many appliances to make your stay easier such as an oven, refrigerator and freezer, washing machine and dryer, and ironing facilities. A stylish partition lining the kitchen counter creates a divider of the area, keeping the bedroom and living area private. To the right side of the room is a 2-seater sofa which is perfectly placed for watching the television, a great place to relax after a day of sight-seeing. There is also a fold-out table which can be used for dining, or a perfect spot to work in peace and comfort. BEDROOM The large, plush double bed sits near the windows of the apartment to give a sense of space and comfort. It will be spotlessly made up for guests using white, hotel quality linen. BATHROOM To the right of the apartment is the spacious, white bathroom featuring a shower with adjustable head, heated towel rail, toilet and basin. Large, fluffy towels and complimentary start toiletries will be provided for each guest.
The private apartment building is centrally located, with a local shopping Centre and supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance. It is located off the main road so it is much quieter for a good night’s sleep. A public car park is directly opposite if you require, but there would be a fee and possible time-limits for parking. The Doncaster Racecourse is a short journey away, followed by the famous Yorkshire Wildlife Park which is a 40 minute train ride or car journey away.

Coal mining played a significant part in our history as did the railways with the iconic Mallard, Flying Scotsman and Sir Nigel Gresley locomotives all being built in the town, defining the future of rail travel. The railway heritage continues to evolve today with significant rail companies investing in Doncaster and The National College of High Speed Rail occupies a prime site in the Lakeside area of the town. It’s not just rail that carved our history and is driving our future. Aviation has been pivotal. In 1909 Doncaster hosted England’s first air race, and a small commercial airport served the town until 1992 when it was closed to make way for the Lakeside development. RAF Lindholme and Finningley were air bases with the latter boasting one of the longest runways in the UK, making it perfect as the home of Doncaster Sheffield Airport, now the UK’s fastest growing international airport. Doncaster is also home to a rather famous corner shop; Arkwright’s - as featured in long running sitcom ‘Open all Hours’. First aired in 1970’s the same hairdressers shop in Balby is transformed into the set each time filming takes place. And, a fact that is not often appreciated is that Doncaster is home to one of only three Mansion Houses in the country. London and York may have the others but we think ours is definitely the best! Other properties worthy of a visit are the beautiful halls of Brodsworth and Cusworth, the latter of which has just launched its own micro - brewery; The Old Brewhouse. This restores a family tradition dating back to the 18th century and re-opens the original Brewhouse which served the Wrightson family for centuries. Looking ahead to 2020, the 400th anniversary of the sailing of The Mayflower will be celebrated in the town due to our historic connections with The Pilgrim Fathers.

The en-suite room is a loft room with it's own lockable door & decorative fireplace. The kitchen is on the ground floor with washing machine and dryer. Ensuite shower/ bathroom facilities, did I mention the free WiFi. You have access to my kitchen to help yourself to free tea/coffee/water for the duration. I will be on hand, should you require the use of an iron etc. or to help you with directions & recommendations in the City or Racecourse. Or you want complete privacy, that's also fine, just let me know, but I will be as supportive & helpful as you require. There's a Asada Supermarket 10 minutes walk away, plus a couple of fish & chip shops, Italian Restaurant, Chinese takeaway, (which does the best chilli fries!) and Curry house. On the doorstep to bars & restaurants in Doncaster which is 10 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes away from Regent Sq. or the city centre. Really great public transport links taking you all over the city, on the square, to the bus or 10 minutes walk to the train station. If you're feeling fit it's a forty minutes walk to the West End of Doncaster, 20- 30 minutes to Lakeside Village (URL HIDDEN) Doncaster taxis provide a friendly local service if you don't want to use public transport.

Close to town and recently refurbished kitted out with all you should need for your stay.
Two good sized bedrooms with their own locks, one upstairs, and one downstairs. The property also has it's own entrance. Private kitchen & dining area, & large bathroom. The kitchen and upstairs bedroom are not overlooked, nor is the bathroom which has frosted glass anyway, but the downstairs bedroom faces directly onto the street and as such it usually preferable to keep the curtains shut. There are both net curtains and regular curtains. It is quiet though considering the location and I've rarely been woken when staying there. Parking permits for the street are included free. I've never not been able to find a spot. No extra cleaning or service charges or any other hidden extras. Central heating is on 24/7 operated by easy to turn radiator taps. Hot water is virtually instant too. The beds are doubles. Spare sheets & towels are provided. The property has fibre optic wifi. One bedroom has a TV (with Freeview & Netflix), & an X-Box (incl. DVD player), the other bedroom has Freeview TV channels and a DVD player. There's a selection of DVDs, books & board games. The newly fitted kitchen has fridge/freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, washing machine, sink, George Foreman grill, toaster, tea bags, instant and filter coffee making facilities & all the pots, pans, herbs & spices you may need. There will usually be some standard complimentary food and drink to keep you going (probably beans, milk, bread and butter, noodles, pasta, rice & eggs). If you need anything in particular for your stay I may be able to get by request if you settle with me upon arrival. The large bathroom (toilet, bath & shower) is lockable. There's also a clothes horse to dry clothes on in there. The place has old wood floors. Whilst recently painted slippers are advisable, and some are provided in the drawers upstairs.
Neighbours are quiet 99% of the time, and nice people. The street has Doncaster Museum, a theatre just around the corner, the Point arts cafe, two churches, a cafe for a great English breakfast, a great corner shop, and a good Thai takeaway a few doors down. Across the field next to the museum you can get to the back of the Salutation Pub, which is a good pub. Upstairs is a really nice Thai restaurant with decent prices. On the same street as the above you'll find the Earl of Doncaster which is an art deco style hotel with a nice bar. The area can be a bit scruffy sometimes but fairly typical of a street so close to any town centre in my experience. I've had no break-ins, muggins, or car problems whilst here nor have my neighbours. Saying that I do shut windows when I'm out etc and would request you do the same.

KITCHEN / DINING As you walk into the studio apartment, the kitchen is immediately on your left-hand side, complete with a narrow breakfast bar. The cupboards are stocked with basic cooking utensils, cutlery and dining ware, so you have everything required to prepare a delicious home-cooked meal. The kitchen is equipped with many appliances to make your stay easier such as an oven, refrigerator and freezer, washing machine and dryer, and ironing facilities. BEDROOM The large, plush double bed sits near the windows of the apartment to give a sense of space and comfort. It will be spotlessly made up for guests using white, hotel quality linen. A wardrobe is also provided to store your belongings during your stay. BATHROOM To the right of the apartment is the spacious, white bathroom featuring a shower with adjustable head, heated towel rail, toilet and basin. Large, fluffy towels and complimentary start toiletries will be provided for each guest.
The private apartment building is centrally located, with a local shopping Centre and supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance. It is located off the main road so it is much quieter for a good night’s sleep. A public car park is directly opposite if you require, but there would be a fee and possible time-limits for parking. The Doncaster Racecourse is a short journey away, followed by the famous Yorkshire Wildlife Park which is a 40 minute train ride or car journey away.
