Check in as early as 10am! Discounts for long stays! Steps from the High Line and a block from major transportation, this immaculate, sunny room is perfectly situated in one of the most desirable downtown Manhattan neighborhoods! This is a private room in a four bedroom apartment. The apartment was decorated by a designer at an international fashion brand. The decor, over-sized windows and 11 foot ceilings represents the style, modernity, and warm feeling that the Chelsea has to offer.
The bedroom is one in a four bedroom apartment that is in the heart of prime Chelsea. Please note, the apartment does have a live in host - and other guests - but your bedroom is your private space and oasis in Chelsea. The room has a high bed so you can store your luggage underneath, a sturdy shelf near the bed to store items under and place your laptop or other items on. A small closet, and long mirror. It's a quiet building on a quiet street, but within walking distance of some of the most popular attractions in NYC. A block away from the Highline. The apartment and room is tastefully decorated by your host who has had his work featured in Vogue. The apartment itself features high ceilings that create a wonderful sense of space in the bedroom, while the large windows allow light to flood in during the day, while their double-paned glass keeps the street noise at bay. The room has a luxuriously soft mattress, private small closet in the room, blow dryer, vanity surface, and full mirror. The room is cozy as per Chelsea/NYC standards at 6 by 8 feet. The shared bathroom features a toilet that maintains a heated seat, and a waterfall shower with large shower head and four faucets for frontal wash. You'll also have dedicated space in the bathroom, fridge and kitchen cabinets.
Chelsea is known as the Gallery District, and you will be steps from internationally renowned spaces that you can easily explore. In addition to being within walking distance of Time Square, the Empire State Building, Koreatown, Herald Square, Penn Station, and the Village, you are central enough to be to any major site in Manhattan quickly by train. The three biggest galleries, each with multiple locations, are Gagosian (21st and 24th), David Zwirner (19th and 20th), and Pace (24th and 25th). They’re worth visiting for museum-quality shows by notable artists (you might catch Richard Serra’s massive steel sculptures at Gagosian, a Yayoi Kusama installation at Zwirner, or paintings by Mark Rothko at Pace). You can also bank on seeing excellent art at Cheim & Read (25th), Marlborough (25th), Barbara Gladstone (24th, with a smaller space on 21st), Paula Cooper (21st), Jack Shainman (20th), and Hauser & Wirth (18th)—which is also home to the neighborhood’s best kept secret: In the back of the massive space is Roth Bar (technically a work of art and a permanent installation), which serves free espresso on Fridays and Saturdays. If you need a real snack: the couches in the dark, cozy Intelligentsia Café at The High Line Hotel are an ideal place to recharge with a brownie and a cortado. For a full sit-down meal, Chop Shop, Cookshop, El Quinto Pino, and Bottino are all great neighborhood options. And, in case you need a palate cleanser between all those poured concrete floors and white walls, Printed Matter on 26th and 11th is an eclectic bookstore that carries artist’s editions alongside an mix of books, zines, and other ephemera.

Perfect location! Convenient, quiet room in our shared apartment. Please see our other listings for more reviews of the space. We just listed the room and it is still a bit of a work in progress, which is why it's such a good deal!
Your room does not face the street, which makes things nice and quiet--a real rarity in NYC. Natural light through your window is minimal, which is great for light-sensitive sleepers. Our large apartment is up a couple flights of stairs and occupies the whole floor. It is shared with your hosts and the other guests. Interaction tends to be minimal because everyone is busy doing his or her own thing in the city. Many guests report feeling like they have the apartment to themselves. We keep the apartment as clean as we can, but please understand that it is a shared space in an older prewar building that shows its age. The occasional guest expecting a gleaming new hotel might be surprised by this, but the vast majority are thrilled to book one of the best deals in NYC.

Cozy room in centrally-located, huge, very fun loft. Near all central attractions and main train lines. Walking distance to Times Square, The Empire State Building, Union Square, etc. right near the 1,2,3,A,C,E,F,M,N,Q,R,W,L trains. Right in the middle of it all.
This converted warehouse loft is our enormous 5-bedroom/2-bath apartment that we've called home for 8 years. It's pretty much the greatest apartment in New York and we think you'll love it. The vibe is incredibly easy-going and fun-loving yet it's in an incredibly central location. If you're visiting and want to know what living in New York is really like, this is the place for you – except that you'll have a lot more room to stretch out than anywhere else you can stay. The apartment boasts a HUGE living room, washer/dryer, full kitchen, dishwasher and piano! Despite being very large, the wood furnishings give a cozy, homey atmosphere. Very close to the 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, F, M, N, Q, R, W, and L trains! It's a snap to get anywhere in the city. Room includes a full sized bed, fresh linens and towels, and a heavy comforter. This room is very quiet, not being on the street. Although smaller than the other rooms in the apartment, this room is not small by NY standards. Please note that the room has no windows, but it is well appointed and has a really nice air conditioner for temperature control and ventilation. The bright, airy, and enormous common space more than makes up it. The other roommates are incredibly friendly and knowledgable about the neighborhood. We're near great bars and restaurants, the city's best comedy venue and Whole Foods is less than 3 blocks away. Yair is an entrepreneur who founded a coconut business, Francis is a Head Carpenter at one of the best theaters in the city, John is a video producer and writer and I'm a comedy writer. Anything you're curious about or into, we'll help you discover it... and one of us is probably into it too. Times Square, Empire State Building, Madison Square park are all close by! Within walking distance: The High Line (3 blocks) The Flatiron building (2 blocks) Madison Square Park (2 blocks) Madison Square Garden (5 blocks) Fashion Institute of Technology (1 block) Meatpacking District/West Village (14 blocks) Empire State Building (9 blocks) Times Square (16 blocks)
Our neighborhood is very central to everything you're likely to do on a visit to New York. We're a short walk from the major tourist attractions and are very close to basically all the train lines. Whether you want to go to dinner in Chinatown, a party in Brooklyn or a Broadway show, you can be there in minutes from our place.

This is my room that I love to stay in Manhattan. I love it for the fact that it is very close to every great locations in Lower Manhattan. For example, Union Square, Greenwich Village, Chelsea, East Village, West Village, NYU, Parsons School, etc are within walking distance. I will dedicate this room to you if you would like to stay during your visit to New York City. I will move to another room nearby. However, my personal belongings are still there. I hope you don’t mind about them.
The apartment has 3 rooms and this is the best of them with nice street view, with some street noise but you know, that is normal in the busy city like this Big Apple. From the window, you can see different people happily or hurriedly walking, talking, or doing something towards their life. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, so you need to climb 2 stairs up. I do it everyday and I am fit.
This is a lovely neighborhood. You can find easy access to the Subway trains, supermarkets and shops. Plenty of bars and restaurants with great yummy food await you downstairs.

The bedroom is in my apartment, which is on the third floor of a three story building on 23rd Street and 7th Avenue in Chelsea. Close to everything in Manhattan.
Pictures say it all. I have one spacious living room and kitchen, and one bathroom that we share. Your bedroom is 14ft x 10ft and it has a full bed, one desk, and some cabinet space. I provide one towel for your stay and you are welcome to use my bathroom products if you want to. There is one window AC unit for the common areas and one portable AC unit for your bedroom. Please be mindful of using the bedroom's AC unit only when you are present. I also provide a fan for your bedroom. I keep the apt pretty organized and clean, and I expect you keep the common areas in good conditions. If you cook, you are also expected to clean up after yourself.
It's centrally located. Plenty of galleries, restaurants and bars. The high line and Madison Square park are a couple of blocks away and I'd be happy to give you recommendations if you need any.

Hey guys - My apartment is a (not so) hidden gem, close to everything that west village has to offer. It's a 5 minute walk to Meatpacking and a 3 minute walk to Bleeker and the heart of Greenwich Village. You’ll love my place because of the location and how easy it is to get to. The front door is right on Greenwich Ave and the apartment is up just one short set of stairs. Watch out for other listings that are 5th floor walkups. This is an easy 2nd floor unit perfect for anyone.
- Cozy rug in living room - Insanely comfortable bed - No neighbors on the other side of the walls - Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a dishwasher (yes, a dishwasher in NYC!) - Ridiculously fast internet

The district's boundaries are roughly 14th Street to the south, the Hudson River and West Street to the west, and Sixth Avenue to the east, with its northern boundary variously described as at or near the upper 20s or 34th Street, the next major crosstown street to the north. To the northwest of Chelsea is the neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen, as well as Hudson Yards; to the northeast are the Garment District and the remainder of Midtown South; to the east are NoMad and the Flatiron District; to the southwest is the Meatpacking District; and to the south and southeast are the West Village and the remainder of Greenwich Village. Chelsea is divided between Manhattan Community Board 4 and Manhattan Community Board 5. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, and expanded in 1982 to include contiguous blocks containing particularly significant examples of period architecture. Beautiful home in Chelsea. Clean, high ceilings, big bathroom, bright kitchen, and two spacious living spaces. Less than 5 min walk to the L (to Brooklyn) and ACE and 1 trains and great food options in the neighborhood (find our guide under house manual). Also, we occasionally dog-sit, so if you are allergic, please inquire whether we'll have one during your stay.
There are two large living areas, a large kitchen, and three very cozy bedrooms (we built two of them, so they're just big enough for a bed plus some extra space). The space is well equipped for dining, cooking, and entertaining guests. We have a wall-width projector for watching movies, a bar, and a solid 4 person table up in the dining area.
Chelsea is amazing. Just a few blocks from the High Line and Hudson river. Tons of art galleries on the way. Walking distance to the Whitney Museum, Union Square, Washington Square Park and just a 10 minute ride to Central Park (A-train) and Brooklyn (L-train). And as for groceries Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are each a 7 min walk away.

Enjoy your own well-furnished, clean, private bedroom on the edge of Chelsea & Greenwich Village -- two beautiful, historic residential NYC neighborhoods. Fast free wi-fi, internet TV, Netflix, AC, full bath & shower, kitchen with gourmet appliances and cookware, with coffees, teas, espresso, yogurts, cereals, juice, and many other basic breakfast items included.
Enjoy a clean, well-furnished, modified 3-bedroom apartment in a convenient, central Manhattan location between Chelsea and Greenwich Village, shared with two adults -- my housemate and me. We are both relaxed, mature and responsible, both very clean and tidy. He occupies the second bedroom, and I sleep in the outer area of the apartment -- modified into a third bedroom and separated at night by a floor-to-ceiling, full-length partition, so everyone enjoys complete privacy. The shared, common spaces of the apartment (the areas of the apartment that everyone is welcome to use) are the kitchen, bathroom, entry and hallway. You'll have your own private bedroom (with door lock and key for increased privacy and security, if you wish to use it). Your bedroom is furnished with a double/full bed with a comfortable new Sealy mattress and designer bedding; a tall dresser; a work station (computer desk) and comfortable desk chair; a wall-mounted LCD “Smart” internet TV connected to the wi-fi and offering a universe of free movies and TV shows via Netflix, HuluPlus and other channels; air conditioner with fan and remote control; and under-bed storage space for your bags. I also provide freshly laundered bed sheets and bath towels for you. The apartment is on the top (5th) floor, and your bedroom has a window looking out from the back side of the building, so your personal space is quiet and peaceful. You can enjoy natural sunlight, or lower the honeycomb blinds for privacy and use the four (4) different sources of lighting (ceiling, wall-mounted and tabletop lighting) within your room. This is a walk-up building (without lift/elevator), but I am happy to carry your bags upstairs, when you arrive. You can then enjoy living on the top floor, with natural light from outside, and practically zero noise from the street or from neighbors. We love a clean, orderly living space. I clean the kitchen and bathroom regularly, and your room will be cleaned before your arrival, and can also be cleaned during your visit, if you wish. Your stay includes a daily breakfast with a variety of beverages and breakfast foods. Some of these items will already be stocked in the kitchen when you arrive: coffee; tea; juice; cereal; oats; granola; milk; yogurt; berries; fruits; eggs; cheese & bread. If you have specific items you prefer for breakfast, or if you have dietary restrictions, I am happy to accommodate your needs -- just let me know in advance. We are easy-going and we like to laugh. But we're also respectful and considerate of our guests, especially about keeping the apartment clean and tidy, and quiet and peaceful. If this sounds like the environment for you, then we look forward to meeting and hosting you!
Chelsea and the neighboring areas of Greenwich Village and the fashionable Meatpacking District are all very charming and beautiful residential zones, with a variety of popular cafes, diners, restaurants, coffeehouses, bakeries, parks, art galleries, boutiques and specialty shops, as well as entertainment and nightlife. It’s a short walk to NYU, Union Square, the High Line elevated park, the Westside Waterfront and Hudson River. And it’s a quick ride on the Subway (metro) to all major NYC landmarks including Times Square, Broadway theaters, Lincoln Center, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building, United Nations, South Street Seaport, Wall Street and the World Trade Center, as well as major NYC rail and bus stations (Penn Station, the Port Authority and Grand Central Station).

Incredibly large, homey, clean room in a gigantic loft in Chelsea. Right in the center of everything!
This converted warehouse loft is our enormous 5-bedroom/2-bath apartment that we've called home for 9 years. Very close to the 1, C, E, F, M, N and R trains! It's a snap to get anywhere in the city. Room includes QUEEN size bed, fresh linens and towels and heavy comforter. desk and 2 chairs, night table and 3 lamps. Light, clean, homey and spacious. This room is very quiet, not being on the street but overlooking the roofs of the neighboring buildings. Room comes with wireless access. The other roommates are incredibly friendly and knowledgable about the neighborhood. We're near great bars and restaurants, the city's best comedy venue and Whole Foods is less than 3 blocks away. Ben's a musician, improvisor, artist, currently developing a TV show, John is a comedian, Oliver is at a little tech startup and I'm an actor/writer/PhD in cognitive science. Anything you're curious about or into, we'll help you discover it... and one of us is probably into it too. Times Square, Empire State Building, Madison Square park are all close by! Within walking distance: The High Line (3 blocks) The Flatiron building (2 blocks) Madison Square Park (2 blocks) Madison Square Garden (5 blocks) Fashion Institute of Technology (1 block) Meatpacking District/West Village (14 blocks) Empire State Building (9 blocks) Times Square (16 blocks) NOTE: if this room is filled, please check out the other room at our place: https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/104250
We're situated between Chelsea and the NoMad/Flatiron areas, which have all seen a ton of new restaurants and venues open up just recently. It's an exciting time to be in this area for anyone who loves food, cafes or live shows.
