Lots of locals here in the neighborhood professors, graduate students, and families. We love the location since we can walk to Bloomingfoods organic grocery store, live music, Wonderlab, bars, restaurants everything!
  • Peggy is a very gracious and easy going host. Her home is like the pages of a magazine in terms of aesthetics, its very vibrant yet homely. She has nice pet dog, Lucy, who was very mindful of me when it realized I was not a super animal fan. My brother enjoyed hanging out with the dog. Peggy was great conversationalist and available when needed. Her home is accessible to many cities in various directions, namely Indianapolis was just an hour away. A local social security office is just 8 minutes away. For people moving to Indiana state and need to be in multiple cities for various resources, her place is a great one to call home base as you run errands while awaiting for a home wherever you are settling, particularly on the southern side of the state.

  • I highly recommend Peggy's place, it's clean and she is a wonderful host.

    Ashley2019-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Peggy was a great host! Very kind, and definitely let us come in and out as we needed. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend her to anybody traveling to Bloomington in the future.

  • She is one of the best hosts that I ever met. Nice and clean place Most recommend

    Anas2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Peggy is the best hostess my wife and I could've wished for. Coming to a new city and a new country, she made us feel very welcomed and confident. The room we rented for thirteen days is beautiful, comfortable, and spacious enough for two people, five suitcases, and the things we bought during our stay. We felt at home around the other parts of the house too: the laundry room which she kindly allowed us to use, the big living room, the very-well equipped kitchen where we had our breakfast everyday, and the large, sparkling clean bathroom. In addition to all of this, we would recommend a stay with Peggy because she is a great person with whom to have conversations, share a meal (she invited us to have lunch with her family - all amazing people), and ask for general advice or tips about Bloomington, a town she knows very well. Last but not least, her dog Lucy is an important mention. She is sweet and will always come to make you company. We thank Peggy from the bottom of our love-filled hearts.

  • I stayed at Peggy's place for a little over 2 weeks. Her place is in an excellent location. It is less than 15 minutes walk to downtown in a quiet neighborhood. The room was clean and quiet. In addition, if you are staying long term, there's a parking spot for your car in the back, laundry service and a kitchen. Peggy was kind enough to cook me excellent breakfast every morning before I left for work. She even dropped me off at the airport when I was checking out. Peggy also gave me valuable tips about places to live and see in Bloomington. Talking to her about Indiana and Bloomington over the weekends was fun. Her place is a hidden gem and I would strongly recommend that you stay here if you are visiting Bloomington.

Beautifully remodeled, super clean, one-bedroom house built in the 40's. Open concept, lots of light, airy interior, tons of vinyl. This property is less then a mile from downtown and is walking distance from hopscotch coffee, the IU campus, and Bryant park.
WiFi, Roku TV w/ Netflix, Hulu, & HBO. Fully remodeled kitchen and a large, brand new sectional makes for a delightfully proper 2nd sleeping space. While the interior of the house is finished, the exterior and the landscaping are still in progress.
This is a quiet, friendly neighborhood. We love our neighbors so please be respectful :)
  • Lovely and stylish home. Lovely and thoughtful host. Drake knows every great place to go to in Bloomington. His house is super clean, well decorated and comfortable. Will definitely stay again!

    Lynn2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • This spot is phenomenal. We loved the aesthetic and style of the home. The record collection is a treasure and really added to our stay. All the furniture is comfortable and made for a relaxing place to come back to during a wedding weekend in Bloomington. On top of that, Drake was super communicative, very responsible, and nice to talk to. Highly recommend

    Daniel2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Drake's place! The home is comfortable and in a convenient location. We loved the kitchen and the projector to watch Netflix/Hulu. Communication with Drake, and check in and check out was easy. We would definitely stay at his place on our next trip to Bloomington.

    Courtney2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Super-convenient to downtown. Bright, clean, comfortable. Drake's communications are excellent. Recommended.

  • Drake's space was perfect for our stay in Bloomington. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. The turntable and vinyl collection along with projection TV were great features that we took advantage of. Would certainly come back next time we need a place in Bloomington.

  • Super cute, eclectic vibe in the house.

    Heather2019-08-10T00:00:00Z

  • The Walnut Street Inn is truly a gem. Very easy and convenient to check in and perfectly located a short walk to everything. The Walnut room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We’ll definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

    Wells2019-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • All in all, a solid option in Bloomington. Bill and Paige's place, which is located on the top (second) floor of a commercial building, is sort of a hybrid apartment-hotel. It features several self-contained units, each with its own bedroom/bathroom/mini-fridge, and a common kitchen space and private (and free!) parking in the rear. Despite having no staff on site Paige is an excellent communicator and check-in/out was super smooth. It's definitely an old building (little soundproofing, outdated bathrooms) but overall the Walnut Street Inn is a good bang for your buck - more space than a standard hotel room, less expensive, and with more character.

    Gwendolyn2019-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • The location is close to campus. The room was big, quite and comfortable. It is on the second floor of a row house which gives a good vibe. I will be staying here again.

    Kathy2019-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location for walking to all kinds of shops and resturants.

    Levi2019-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Bill & Paige’s place is the perfect location, right in the center of Bloomington. The value is great, the place is much cozier than your standard hotel. Check in was super easy, and with parking included it was definitely the right pick for us!

Perfect location 1/2 block from the Courthouse square. Close to everything! Stay here and leave the car parked during your stay and walk to Farmers Market, dinner, drinks, entertainment, IU, etc.
Included in the space: upright shower in private bath, private entrance, large closets, queen bed in private bedroom, wi-fi (no TV), bed & bath linens, full kitchen with basic supplies, table & chairs, living area, desk, washer/dryer, coffee maker with coffee and tea provided.
Amazing location just off the courthouse square within walking distance to campus, bus routes (including those for the stadium), farmer's market, 4th Street aka Restaurant Row, Lotus Festival, Arts Fair on the Square, Taste of Bloomington, and all the shopping and nightlife available on Kirkwood Ave.
  • The apartment was larger than expected but otherwise very accurate. The bed was comfortable and there was access to TV and WiFi. The noise from the Bluebird is indeed loud at night but not unmanageable. We were unlucky with the neighbors blaring music until 4am the first night, but it was quiet the next. The location cannot be beat and is great for those looking for a place to sleep during a weekend in Bloomington.

    Michelle2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Bring a fan if you require sleep noise! I forgot mine! Great little place to visit!:)

    Scott2018-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Really solid, spacious (great kitchen!) enjoyable apartment with nice amenities. Location was outstanding in terms of walkability, great restaurants, coffee, and beer nearby. Though, on the weekend nights there was some bass reverb from local establishments. Avery and Lisa were excellent and communicative hosts!

    Jacinda2018-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great space and location (walking distance to a lot of great bars and restaurants), very clean and comfortable, and well-stocked. It’s true the street noise can get a little loud, but it was never enough to bother me and I’m a pretty light sleeper. Check-in was a breeze, very quick responses to messages, and I really enjoyed my stay. I definitely recommend this space.

Bloomington, Indiana USA. VERY IMPORTANT!! NO FRAGRANCES OR SCENTED PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS. PLEASE!! Welcome to my huge sunny very private guest room w private 1/2 bath. It's up easy stairs over the kitchen addition on the back of my 114 year old house. It's 4 blocks from downtown and 1 mile from the edge of the IU campus. 2 very friendly indoor cats live here. They are not allowed in the guest room but occasionally they sneak up there. Again please, NO FRAGRANCES !!
The room-which is the nicest one in the house- has a queen sized bed, couch, Wi-fi, TV with no cable but has a Roku box with Netflix, desk and folding table. There is a local calls only phone in the room as well. You can arrange the furniture whatever way you like! There is also a large closet that has a small ironing board and iron stashed away. The bed has down comforter and pillows although a regular quilt, down free pillows and blankets are available. All bed linens are 100% cotton. Sheets and towels are dried outside in the sun on the clothesline whenever possible. The room has hardwood floors with no carpet and the acoustics are wonderful. The couch is large enough and comfortable enough to sleep on in case you need space for a third person or prefer not to share the bed with your companion. There is a private ½ bath there. The main bathroom downstairs (not part of a master suite) has an extra long claw foot tub and a 5 ft square walk- in shower with water jets and grab bars on the walls. This bath is shared. I have 2 friendly cats if you'd like some purr therapy. Musicians-especially folk and classical- and artists are quite welcome- in addition to everybody else! There is room enough for rehearsal space for unamplified music. 11p.m is noise curfew time all over Bloomington. I’m also LGBT friendly and welcoming. Folks of all nationalities and ethnic backgrounds are welcome in my home.
I live on 1/6 acre 4 blocks from downtown Bloomington. There is a large church on one side and an old house that has apartments on the other side. Since I heat with wood in addition to furnaces and have a moderate sized garden it is easy to pretend that I live in the country! It is a pleasant quiet neighborhood of older homes and apartments. It’s just 4 blocks from downtown, 1 mile from the western edge of campus and 3 blocks from the B-line walking/biking trail. I am 1 block from a bus line. I am 6-7 easy blocks from the Convention Center. The airport shuttle has a drop off just 4 blocks from the house. There is a wonderful food co-op with restaurant 2 blocks away and other restaurants, bars, groceries, and performance venues very close by as well. Saturday mornings much of the year there is a fabulous farmers market just 3 blocks from here.
  • Barb is very nice! The bedroom is very clean and comfortable. It is a great experience!

    Yifan2015-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home and terrific location (just two blocks from the local food coop and very close to all sorts of cute shops in the downtown area)! The guest room has fantastic light and plenty of space. The high ceiling and wood floors were frosting on the cake. A very relaxing spot for a getaway or for business. Barb is such a lovely, creative soul and made me feel right at home.

    Sarah2016-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • The house and Barb are amazing! The bedroom is cozy, beautiful and extremely clean. I went walking to Lilly Library, is a nice path and not far. Thank you, Barb!

    Laura2016-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, fun, and ideally located property. Spacious private upstairs room with everything you could need. Gracious, entertaining, and hospitable host.

    Dave2018-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Barb is a wonderfully kind, helpful, and welcoming host. The room is very spacious, and there are many small thoughtful touches for the guest (stable wifi, fruit/chocolates, Bloomington visitor guides, first aid kit, ironing equipment, and more). The bed is very comfortable! I was walking to the IU campus from this place and found the location very convenient (there are also buses available, but I never bothered with them in the end). Great value and a lovely experience - thanks, Barb!

    Jessi2017-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous place to stay! I attended a conference that met at the IMU. Lovely room and scenic walk to campus from Barb's.

    Katherine2017-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Our Airbnb experience at Barb’s was perfect in every way and exceeded our expectations.

    Deborah2019-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Barb is a "super host," for sure. My first AirBnB stay was just perfect, with a warm welcome, including two super friendly cats, and a wonderfully colorful and quirky vibe within easy walking distance of downtown. Love the vinyl record collection, vintage 60s and 70s, and the new-tech turntable on which to play them. Location, comfort, price, a parking spot, and a fresh pot of coffee each morning... all wonderful. Nothing lacking. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • This little blue house is a great deal! We were there for a water polo tournament and apparently new student orientation was the same weekend so many hotels were sold out. This place was way better than a hotel! Spacious and comfortable and a stocked kitchen!

  • This is a great spot to experience Bloomington. Fantastic common areas and clean spacious rooms. Easy self check in with quick responses from the hosts. There is definitely street noise but they are up front and acknowledge it. They have done what they can to minimize the noise but that all part of being part of a college town’s main strip I would recommend this place and stay here again. But not ideal for light sleepers.

    Mike2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • The final touches made this charming spot amazing - the soap made the spot smell amazing. The local teas highlighted the neighborhood. I was able to go for a run in the morning and enjoy the campus. Just lovely, a great value!

  • Highly recommend Walnut Street Inn for your next trip to Bloomington! We are alumni back in town for a weekend, and this was the perfect place to stay. So convenient - close to everything you want! The hosts have made the place so welcoming and convenient (extra linens, water jugs in the hall, common space). The room is very spacious, as well. Made for a nice place to hang out for a bit. We loved staying here and will definitely be back!

  • One of my favorite AirBnB’s I’ve stayed at! Beautiful room, great location, and prompt responses!

    Amelia2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • The Walnut Street Inn was perfect. The space was clean, extra linens are readily available. There was an ample size kitchen with a large fridge for your things and a big coffee pot if you wanted to buy some local coffee. The steps are a bit steep but the hotel is easily accessible from both 6th Street and Walnut. The rooms were big and if we come to the same conference next year, we will rent again. A fabulous stay.

    Renee2019-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for something in Bloomington that is in the heart of the town, this is it! It was the perfect place to stay for our son's freshman orienation. Your windows look right out onto the square and you can walk to everything. Indiana U campus is a longer walk so we ended up driving to campus, but walking is doable. The space was clean and comfortable. We would definitely look to come back on another trip to Bloomington.

    Lisa2019-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Absolute perfect location!

    Valerie2019-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect location if you are visiting the IU campus. The comments on the noise are correct, it does get noisy. The sound machine helps a lot and it wasn't until later on Saturday night when there was anything slightly bothersome. But then, why would you come to a college town and expect it to be serene and peaceful. Everything we needed for the stay was there in the room or in the shared service area. We liked it a lot.

  • Perfect location; great value!

    Leah2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Valerie's place is a one bedroom apartment with kitchen and comfortable study and bedroom, only a few blocks from town center. The apartment is accessible (first floor) and really has more amenities than can be counted. I stayed for a week, taking a class at IU. I walked to class everyday which was about a 30 min relaxed walk across town and campus. It was perfect and a tremendous value. Valeria had left several suggestions of things to explore in Bloomington, but our time was very structured so I didn't get to sample her suggestions. I'm sure they would have been helpful.

    Daphne2019-06-14T00:00:00Z

    Nick2019-03-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great place

    Brock2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • This home is in a great location, easy walking to B-Line, a grocery store, the farmers market, and downtown. Valeria was easy to communicate with (although we didn't encounter any problems), and the check in was simple. We thought it was a bit overpriced for the quality of the home, however, as the carpet is quite old, the futon is extremely uncomfortably, and the home is generally a bit run down.

Amazing deck overlooking the courthouse square! New kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave. The manager of the property works nearby, is easily accessible, and brings 18 years of property management experience with him.
Included in the studio-style space: full private bath, private entrance, access to 4th floor rooftop deck, large closet, queen bed, wi-fi, bed & bath linens, table & chairs, mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig with coffee and tea. it is very similar to a hotel-style set-up but with an amazing rooftop deck.
Amazing location just off the courthouse square within walking distance to campus, bus routes (including those for the stadium), farmer's market, 4th Street aka Restaurant Row, Lotus Festival, Arts Fair on the Square, Taste of Bloomington, and all the shopping and nightlight available on Kirkwood Ave.
  • Great location!

  • Great, clean centrally located in the heart of Bloomington... if you are here to visit someone at IU or just enjoying the town it's a great location. Be warned the courthouse area can be noisy at night but I was told about it before I rented .. a great value

  • Great rooftop patio & close to IU.

  • Great location! Street parking for a fee with a very user-friendly app, and walkable to everywhere in town. Great rooftop just off the square, so 360-degree view of the town and campus. Bring your earplugs and eye shades if street noise and morning light bother you. I was prepared and slept very well in the comfy bed. Kitchenette has a sink, microwave and a little fridge. Nice dining area.

THE ARTIST RETREAT is ideally located in the FAR Gallery District, in walking distance to Bloomington's happening downtown, the B-Line Trail and the beautiful IU campus. Galleries, dining and entertainment abound. The architecturally designed Artist Retreat is perfect for an ambient urban stay, either for leisure or work. The contemporary interior features a sunny and well-lighted living room with convertible sofa/futon, Euro-style kitchenette, spacious bedroom with work niche, and bathroom.
  • Douglas has a lovely apartment that has everything one would need for a visit to the Bloomington area. Parking was conveniently in back of the building and Douglas was very responsive. It was appreciated in planning my trip!

    Matthieu2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great location within walking distance of downtown, and only a few blocks from university. Perfect place for attending the fall Lotus (International music) Festival. Bed was very comfortable. The space is one of four apartments divided out of an older house. This makes the layout of the bathroom awkward, (under a stair case) and the shower small (the shower head is low so if you are 6’ and up you will have to bend to wash your hair). In spite of these minor quirks, I would recommend it as a comfortable place to stay.

    Kevin2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Douglas was great getting us local info before our trip and very resposive to any questions we had. The apartment is very cute and comfortable and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Breakfast ingredients were great for quick start in the morning. We would happily return next time we get to Bloomington. Thanks Douglas!

    Cheryl2019-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Really clean place had everything we needed.

    Clayton2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • The location of the apartment was the only great thing about this place. We got there and the bed wasn’t made (looks like previous vacationers had just left) dirty laundry at the door of the bed. Dirty dishes left in the sink. Dirty bathroom with hair left in the sink. We contacted Doug and he stated there was miscommunication and didn’t realize we were coming on the date we booked the apartment. He sent a janitor there to clean the apartment while we left for dinner. We get back to the dishes being clean but all the dirty towels and soiled sheets were just thrown in the closet. Sheets on the bed were not changed, bed was just fluffed and put together. Overall not the greatest experience.

    Danny2019-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Probably just the fact that I am reviewing this place again says it all...I've stayed here multiple times and have another stay booked already.

  • Great spot for anyone coming into town for a good and peaceful stay in Bloomington. The Host Shahyar was more than helpful and incredibly friendly. Everything you need is included in this private room. Also the house isn’t far from any of the main locations throughout the city. Overall great spot to book and chill at!

    Christen2019-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Shahyar's place is quite clean, cosy, private and charmingly rustic. The room comes equipped with many amenities and has a beautiful garden leading up to it. Shahyar himself was quite a gracious host and I would definitely recommend his place to anyone coming to Bloomington.

    Fatima2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I spent a weekend in Bloomington and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic. It's an easy walk or bike ride to downtown and to campus with numerous restaurants close by (and if you're there on a Saturday morning, a very short walk to the local farmers market). The bed was comfortable and the room features an array of interesting books to peruse. Shahyar is very welcoming and really makes you feel at home. He's knowledgeable about the area and can provide numerous suggestions for food an activities in the area. Absolutely loved our stay in Bloomington.

    Tim2019-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • Shahyar is very hospitable; he greeted me when I arrived and then checked in via email to make sure all was well during my stay. There were many thoughtful touches in the room like a pitcher of filtered water and a variety of snacks. The room is very spacious and comfortable with an en suite bathroom. I often have problems sleeping when I travel, but I slept great there!

    Janet2019-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place, super private, and close to campus.

  • This is a great place. It was cleaned very well. The design of the house is beautiful and classic. The bed is comfortable. Overall it's a very quiet part of Bloomington, but easily within walking distance of all the important stuff downtown and campus.

  • My parents had a wonderful experience with Karla and her husband. They were incredibly accommodating and friendly throughout their stay. Karla's home was also very well kept and arranged perfectly for an Airbnb. Highly recommend!

  • Great historic home & a short walk to downtown Bloomington. Bathroom and bedroom were SPOTLESS! Karla & Jim were very quick to respond with answers to my questions (Jim even gave me a lift over to campus). Perfect place to stay for parents visiting their IU student who don't care to pay the ridiculous prices at the few local hotels.

    Joanie2018-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • Karla and Jim’s home is beautiful and very comfortable. Check-in was easy and they made me feel right at home. The bedroom was roomy, clean and nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable. Highly recommend these wonderful hosts and their gorgeous home.

Upstairs suite in a beautifully remodeled 1926 Arts and Crafts Bungalow. This includes two rooms with a private bathroom. The bedroom has a Sleep Number bed (queen) that is very comfortable. The sitting area has a sofa and desk that makes a nice work, relaxation room. Located 1 mile to downtown near the B-line trail. The house is 2 blocks to the city bus line. You actually have the entire upstairs of my house. You will come into my space when you come and go.
The upstairs rooms are reminicent of your grandmother's attic room. It is very cozy and comfortable and it is highly decorated with quilts.
The neighborhood is a nice mix of smaller homes that have a lot of full-time residents and a few rentals. There is a coffee shop right down the street and a distillery within walking distance. The B-Line trail is also very close and an easy way to talk into town. Parking is on the street in front of the house. Public transportation is a few blocks to the east.
  • Georgia’s place was very clean and convenient to the IU campus. Check in was easy. We would stay there again.

Thank you for viewing our listing. Our home is close to nightlife, downtown, Indiana University, and many family-friendly activities. We have lived here for twenty years and raised our family here so can help point you in any direction you want to go in Bloomington.
We have lived here for twenty years and raised our family here so can help point you in any direction you want to go in Bloomington. We would welcome your friendly dog if you are sure it would get along with our very mellow older dog and our overly friendly malti-poo puppy. We are willing to consider vacating house and making it all available to larger groups of responsible guests on IU graduation , move-in, parents, and other event weekends. We do have a two night minimum on graduation weekend. ( the local hotels have three night minimum at $600+ per night) We are 2 blocks from the city bus line, 8 blocks from the town square, 1 mile from campus, 6 easy blocks from the Hilton Garden Inn which is also an airport Shuttle pick-up/drop off place. We are 4 blocks from the B-Line multi-use trail and you are welcome to borrow our bicycles. In other words, we are super-duper convenient to most everything in town. Our home is clean, laid back, lived in, and comfy, but not fancy. We enjoy having folks use it. Your room has private entrance. Your door opens to a small hall that goes through the shared living room, to a bathroom next to the shared kitchen. The bathroom has a claw foot tub / shower. You are welcome to use the shampoos and soaps, towels, and we try our best to have extra personal items on hand for you. Access to high speed internet. Dorm refrigerator, stocked with, filtered water, cream, sweeteners, teas, coffee / coffee maker, and a microwave. You are welcome to use any food or appliances in our kitchen. There is a great food co-op with a deli and hot bar 5 blocks away and other downtown restaurants, bars, food trucks, groceries, and performance venues very close as well. Saturday mornings April - November there is a fabulous farmers market just 4 blocks from here. One Friday of every month (usually the first Friday) you will find a Gallery Walk, with art opening’s spread around a ½ mile downtown area 5 - 8 pm a short walk away. We do have a large friendly dog and a small malti-poo puppy that you are welcome to interact with or never see, your choice. With notice we could accommodate friendly pets (Sorry no cats, allergies) No tobacco smoking in house, but covered front porch or back porch is fine. Our back porch can be a great place to relax if temperatures are fair and usually the wifi works well out there too. If you can transport them to water, we have kayaks you can use. For an extra fee we can have someone transport them for you. We love to hike and can tell you many places to explore in all directions. We have a washer in our somewhat scary basement you may use. We do not have a dryer, but the clothes line in yard or drying rack in the house do the job. We’ll happily share our simple kitchen and staples for cooking along with a shelf in the kitchen fridge, with expectation you clean-up after yourselves. Wifi password and more information about your temporary home and town are available in your room. *** Prices for longer stays are negotiable.
Our area is one of the older neighborhoods in Bloomington. It’s called “The Near Westside”, some of us fondly call it “The Far-Out Near Westside”. It is mainly families who live here and is usually pretty quiet. There is a lot of history surrounding us, and a few blocks away is the old ‘fancy’ neighborhood, with walking, self-guided, architectural tours. We have large yards for being in town, a big park 2 blocks away, and the B-line trail for walking or bike riding is also a few blocks away. You are close enough for easy access to downtown and IU at this location, but not so close the vibrations keep you awake.
  • Stay at Jude's place--she makes the best coffee. The location can't be better. Good all around experience.

    Catherine2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Jude’s home is very homey and comfortable. You can interact as much better or as little as you like; they go with your needs. We have stayed with the family three times and really enjoy them and their home. Tom makes awesome coffee and they are very helpful, asking if you would like to borrow umbrellas or bikes, or to use the kitchen if you’d like a home cooked meal. Their dog is lovely and sweet. We would stay there anytime.

    Amy2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Jude is very personable and a great host.

    Kris2019-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great neighborhood, very close to downtown. The family was fantastic, the room clean and very well appointed. Had a great stay there

    Alexis2017-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great rental for either 1 person or a couple. The room was comfy, cozy, and very clean. I really enjoyed the bonus features of a mini fridge (stocked with beverages) and my own private entrance. The location is perfect for walking to downtown area of Bloomington. The hosts are very friendly; I felt at home right away, even though it was my 1st airbnb experience. I highly recommend this spot and would for sure rent from them again!

    Lisa2018-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Jude's Walkable Westside Wonder is absolutely perfect. Designated parking was easy to find and made arrival smooth. Once parked, we walked from there to the downtown area with no problems, despite the bitter cold weather. The bed is better than what I sleep on at home, the room is comfortably decorated in what I'd call Bloomington bohemian style. I seem to recall a mini fridge and microwave along with tea and coffee fixings (we didn't use as we left early the next day) and there are helpful notes on everything --a lot of thought went into the room's layout and amenities. The rest of the house is really nice, too, and the bathroom is near the room. Jude herself is personable, yet laid-back and unobtrusive. Also, the price is better than many places. Don't bother paying a higher price to get marginally closer to downtown, this is plenty close and isn't some 20-something's dormitory.

    Jenny2017-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic experience here! Jude is very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home right away. The room was great-- clean, private, and comfortable. The neighborhood is beautiful and just a few blocks away from the city. We would love to stay here again!

    Molly2016-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • The room is ideal for one person. It was super clean and cozy, and the backyard is delightful. Jude and her family were so friendly and welcoming to me and my dog. Plus, there was super-strong coffee in the morning, which is an A+ from me.

  • Very spacious house with everything you would need. Marcia is a great host!

    Aaron2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean place, and just as described. Yard was large and suitable for pets. Corner lot provided an additional benefit of a place to park a second vehicle pulling a cargo trailer. I would gladly stay here again.

    Richard2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Location was great and close to everything we needed and street parking was plentiful. Great yard for our dog to play fetch in. This is a great place to stay for families. The front room had comfy chairs where the kids could hang out and the main common area had a big table where we enjoyed meals and card games. The TV had Netflix available and there was plenty of space to set up a pack and play for the baby. The kitchen had everything we needed. My only less than great review would be for the showerhead being a little low. There were plenty of towels and storage shelf space in the bathroom so I appreciated that everyone could keep their toiletry bag in the bathroom. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to stay here again on our next trip to Bloomington.

    Linda2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Served our purposes nicely while in town for my sister’s graduation from IU.

    Jake2019-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • The house is in a quiet neighborhood and has plenty of space for a family of four. It seems like it a bit of a work in progress, with a lot of DIY improvements going on, but it is still comfortable and pleasant. The beds are very nice and there's a lot of fun artwork throughout the house. We had a very nice stay!

    Nanette2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great location for walking my dogs and enjoying local Bloomington. The neighbors were so friendly, the yard is immense (although we didn't use it because my dogs aren't use to being tied up on leads), and the (fenced/gated) back patio is adorable. I brought two baby gates (which I use for my dogs at home already) to block them off from the front of the house that was carpeted. Peace of mind for me, and I'm glad I thought of it. Marcia was great to work with — so quick to respond. She checked in via AirBnB messenger to make sure everything as ok. Privacy was respected, and being able to enter without meeting up with someone is way better after a 5 hour drive (I'm just not feeling social at that point). So, I'm really grateful for those little things. Thank you for providing a place that welcomes dogs, Marcia. We all appreciated it!

Approximately 600 sq ft. one bedroom, one bath located above a business. The bedroom is spacious with a queen size bed. The living room is studio like in the sense that the living area is open to the kitchen. I have a queen size air mattress that could fit on the floor and a sofa couch that could fit another person if needed. My place is pretty minimal. There is no TV, table for dining space or extra amenities. So if you just need a comfortable, clean, no frills place as base while in Bloomington for fun/work, this would be perfect for you especially since it is fairly central. You will need to climb a flight of stairs to get to the apartment so please keep this in mind prior to booking if it may be an issue.
I am about a 10 minute walk from all the Bloomington spots. Across the street from Chocolate Moose and an awesome brunch spot that gets pretty busy, Bedrok (You can see both from the bedroom!) 10 minutes from 3rd street park, in the spring and summer this place is beautiful for a picnic and lounge. The b-line is also right behind my apartment and you could easily get to it for a run or stroll. 10 minute walk to the downtown square area that has many restaurants, The Tap, Irish Lion, Social Cantina and more! Another 5-7 minute walk and you'll reach Brothers, Bluebird, Switchyard Brewery 15 minutes from Kirkwood with KOK, Nick's, Chipotle, Five Guys etc. 15 minutes from the Sample Gates, the beautiful entrance to IU campus.

This bedroom boasts a private entrance and is the former upstairs dining room of one of Bloomington's longest-standing restaurants. The room has since been converted into a spacious bedroom with private bath. A folding room-divider is available for a little more privacy.
This space used to be the main dining room of a French café, still located downstairs, that has been in operation since 1977. The space has since been partitioned into a generous bedroom, a cozy office room, and a bathroom. There is no kitchen but guests can make use of a private microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker located in the study. Other amenities such as an iron and ironing-board are available. Your host, Marina, will be happy to do laundry for guests staying longer than 3 days. Wi-Fi can be a bit spotty.
This Airbnb is located in the heart of downtown Bloomington, a block away from the square. It is within a 5-minute walk to most downtown destinations and is next door to Bloomingfoods, a local grocery market & deli co-op. It is flanked by the B-line, a rails-to-trails project peppered with joggers, strollers, and cyclists. If your stay is within April-November, you can enjoy the Bloomington farmers' market only one block away every Saturday morning.
  • Great place in the heart of Bloomington. Located within easy walking distance of all the downtown attractions. The room is comfortable and surprisingly quiet, given its location. The decor is colorful and interesting. If you are a music enthusiast there are 100s of LPs (and a turntable!) to explore. I was in town for a few days for work, so I appreciated the office area with a desk located off the main room. Marina is an excellent host and she was friendly and communicative. I would definitely stay here again if work (or play) brings me back to the area.

  • If you want to be close to all the Bloomington hot spots, this is your place. It is very convenient to all the downtown locations and is a fun, unique place to stay. Parking is limited, but during the week, we never had a problem finding a spot right outside our door. If you enjoy listening to classic music of all kinds on a real turntable, you will love this place.

  • Everything about our stay at Marina's was beyond expectation. She was a tremendous host and got us set up in the apartment even though we arrived a few hours early. We took full advantage of the vast record collection, and enjoyed some reading time in the cozy living space. Breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect for exploring downtown Bloomington. Thank you for sharing your apartment with us, and we hope to visit again soon!

  • This experience totally exceeded expectations. Winston and Marina were responsive and communicative while we planned our trip and then throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. Marina delivers breakfast to your door every morning; there is no better way to wake up in the morning than with fresh crepes! The location is perfect -- very walkable and central to town -- and being there makes you feel like you're getting the local Bloomington experience.

    Hannah2015-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Another lovely stay with Marina! She's is such a thoughtful and gracious hostess. As has been said before, the location and charm can not be beat.

    Mary2016-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Marina gave us a warm welcome on our visit to Bloomington. Her place was within walking distance of pretty much everything and the free parking wasn’t far away. Despite being so close to the street, the space felt very private and tucked away behind some trees. She had a little binder full of things to do and restaurants and bars within walking distance of her cafe. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our visit, but honestly I think he enjoyed the homemade breakfast the best! Her cooking is what’s probably going to bring us back the next time. We hope she’s available the next time we stop by.

  • Everything about this Airbnb is as described! It’s a cute studio above a delightful French restaurant with plenty of space for a small family to relax. Conveniently located right by downtown with a small food co-op next door, several good restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk and right next to the B line walking and biking trail. Your breakfasts are amazing and you can relax with a glass of wine and listen to LPs on a small turntable.

    Sean2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This must be the best place that I stayed in my travel life, even though I’m just 17 haha and this is my first time reservation on Airbnb. When I opened the door at first, I was like ‘wow’! That’s just like home. The room is warm, quiet, and clean. Marina is very sweet because she almost prepared everything that you would need and there’s a handbook with some information that you want to know. Marina and his husband are very very nice and kind people. Their breakfast for us everyday are very tasty and they invited us to have dinner in their restaurant in an evening. The food was good and restaurant has more than 40 years history! We had a very comfortable experience here and we would still come here when we come to Bloomington next time.

We are in the historical area of Bloomington. Prospect Hill Neighborhood. Some of the first 10 houses of Monroe county are within walking distance.
  • Diane's room was even better than we expected! Diane provided for everything we could possibly need. The fridge was stocked with snacks, there was a map of town, WiFi, a large comfortable bed, and plenty of clean towels. The air conditioning was a welcome treat after walking around in the heat all day. And Diane was very easy to reach whenever we had questions. We'll definitely come back the next time we're in Bloomington. 5 stars!

    Lauren2016-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in Diane's cozy loft for 3 nights and it was a really great experience! Everything was so clean and well-organized! There were even some snacks and drinks in the refrigerater, many clean towels and different shampoos and body lotions. A TV connected to internet and a large very comfortable bed! Very good experience in general! Thank you so much Diane and we wish you all the best. :)

  • She is very nice and welcoming!

    Brigitte2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Diane was nice. The location is close to downtown so we were able to walk everywhere. She lent us her umbrella for a rainy afternoon. Would be happy to stay here again.

    Clark2016-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Diane prepared the place wonderfully! The refrigerator had eggs, bagels + cream cheese, cream for coffee, and sandwich fixings --all which made for a welcome stay. Everything was neat and tidy and clean as a whistle. The air conditioner and ceiling fan made for a pleasant climate while it was blazing hot outside during the day. Wireless connection was handy. Diane regularly checked in to see that we had everything and replenished what was needed part way into our visit. The addition of a toaster, plug-in electric burner, and water heater made it possible to cook simple meals, which was great so not every meal was required to have out. The neighborhood is wonderful, both close enough to walk into town and a beautiful area to go out for a stroll. A+

  • A cute, clean, and convenient private loft very close to the heart of B-town. Diane was a great host who responded quickly to my questions.

Our Bloomington pad has been completely remodeled from the top down with brand new kitchen, bathroom, and floors. Our location is the best available - a short walk to campus, Kirkwood, Sample Gates and Downtown. The unit features a king bed, brand new kitchen, flat screen TV, air conditioning and private parking. If you have a larger group, we have the ability to rent out multiple units in our complex to accommodate you ! Come see why hundreds of people choose to stay with us when they visit !
Our condominium is unassuming from the outside, but the inside has been tastefully remodeled with modern accents to give our guests a five star experience when they visit. That being said, we would like to give you a "virtual tour" so that you have accurate expectations when you arrive! When you first enter the condo, you will be in the chefs kitchen and dining space. The kitchen features a Carrera marble tiled backsplash, driftwood floors, and stainless steel appliances. We have provided a number of cooking utensils for you to use. Feel free to whip up any delicious meals you would like for your family. Because this is a rental home, we recommend guests purchase any spices, oils, or special ingredients that they need for cooking in advance so that they have everything that they need when they arrive. There are a number of stores within walking distance so it's quite easy to get around. One of the most interesting aspects of our home is the hidden bookshelf door. This was all all original feature that we had restored with the original home. The bookshelf to your left when you first enter the property is actually a hidden door that gives access to the neighboring unit. For security purposes, we installed a second, high security door and double deadbolt so that the units are separated. Guests can still open and close the hidden bookshelf door to see a piece of history! The dining area is adjacent to the main kitchen and features a bar height table with four wooden chairs. The dining area is great to catch up with friends, have a few drinks, or enjoy an intimate meal. If you are planning to host a larger group, please let us know in advance if you need any extra chairs or items so we can ensure your comfort. The bathroom is near the front door and features a brand new vanity, marble subway tiled shower, and a powerful shower head. The entire bathroom was remodeled in early 2017 and has gotten amazing reviews from all our guests! Adjacent to the kitchen is the sleeping area. This section of the studio features a king sized bed, flatscreen TV, and hotel quality linens. Our beds have been sourced from a five star hotel supplier and we have gotten amazing feedback from friends and family that have stayed with us. If you'd like a tip on where to purchase, simply drop us a line after your stay and we'll send you our recommendation. Below are a few popular attractions that we love to share with our guests! 1. Indiana University (4 Min.) 2. Oliver Winery (15 Min.) 3. WonderLab (3 Min.) 4. Monroe Lake (15 Min.) 5. Bloomington Community Farmers Market ( 5 Min.) 6. Assembly Hall (8 Min.) 7. Memorial Stadium (7 Min.) 8. Eskenazi Museum of Art at Indiana University (6 Min.) 9. B-Line Trail (4 Min.) 10. Buskirk-Chumley Theater (4 Min.) 11. Tibetan Mongolia Buddhist Cultural Center (12 Min.) 12. Fairfax State Recreation Area (15 Min.) 13. Butler Winery (15 Min.) 14. Monroe County Courthouse (3 Min.) 15. Bloomington Antique Mall (5 Min.) 16. Monroe Convention Center (3 Min.) 17. Wylie House Museum (1 Min.) 18. IU Opera and Ballet Theater (4 Min.) 19. Westbury Antique Market (9 Min.) 20. Monroe County History Center and Genealogy Library (3 Min.) 21. Pictura Gallery ( 5 Min.) A quick note: The property has a series of interconnect doors for guests that would like to host large groups. These doors are double locked on both sides and have heavy duty deadbolts as well. Only our property manager has access to these door locks, nobody else in the entire building can lock or unlock them. If you are planning to have a larger group stay in multiple units, please let us know in advance so we can have the secondary doors unlocked. We have the ability to host up to 16 guests in the entire building so drop us a line if you're hosting a party!
The condo occupies the sweet spot of central Bloomington. It is so close to so much, yet still manages to be very quite and peaceful. The neighborhood is a nice mix of mostly single families and some college students. There is a wonderful food co-op with restaurant 2 blocks away. Two grocery stores about 7 blocks away (SaharaMart is an alternative grocery store focusing on local/ethnic/organic foodstuffs. And Kroger is a bigger and less expensive standard grocery). Bryan Park is about 3 blocks south. In the summertime you may encounter anything from "Music in the Park" to "The annual New Belgium Brewing's Clips Beer and Film Tour" there.

This cozy home is a few feet off the B-Line Trail. It has been renovated and updated. Downtown Bloomington, Kroger and IU are within walking distance. It is across from Hopscotch Coffee and around the corner from Cardinal Spirits. There are queen beds in both bedrooms and a sofa sleeper in the living room. The house has one bathroom and will accommodate five. All furnishings are newer and cable tv / internet are provided. You will love staying here!
This house is nicely decorated and ideal for those who want to relax. Cleanliness is important to me, and I make it a priority when preparing for guests to arrive. The bedrooms have comfortable queen-sized mattresses with freshly laundered linens. The living room has an inviting couch and a recliner for watching television (cable provided). The TV has apps for your Netflix or many of your other TV services. Internet service is also provided. The bathroom is stocked with towels and washcloths. Starter soap and toilet paper are provided for your convenience. The kitchen is set up to allow you to cook your own meals. There is a gas range/oven, silverware, plates, glasses, knives and et cetera. You will find a modern glass table with chairs and counter space. There is not a dishwasher, so hand washing should be expected (Dish detergent provided). The house has a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. You are welcome to use them. Laundry detergent is available for small users. If you are washing a lot of laundry, you can get detergent and other things at Kroger, a short walk north on the B-Line Trail. The home's location is ideal for those wanting to explore Bloomington, visit the IU campus, or attend an on-campus sporting event. From the B-Line Trail, across the street, you can access downtown Bloomington with many eateries and bars. You are across the street from Hopscotch Coffee, a very popular place to relax in the evening or get that caffeine fix early in the morning. IU is within walking distance or only a few mins. by car. Memorial Stadium and Assembly Hall as well as other sport venues are 10 - 15 minutes by car. Sample Gates on the west side of IU's campus are ~ 1.1 miles away, a ~ 20-minute walk.
The house is part of the McDoel Historic District. For those interested in the history of the district and neighborhood, take a look at City of Bloomington's summary description on the web (Airbnb hides any website links I try to put in). Today, it is predominantly a smaller single-family residential area. It is on the near southwest side of Bloomington, close to downtown. The house is situated such that one can walk to get groceries (2 blocks), to get coffee, to access downtown restaurants, to get to the post office, to get to the hospital and et cetera. My favorite thing about the area is that you do not feel that you are in the center of everything, but in the McDoel neighborhood you essentially are.

"Kickin' Back by Kirkwood" is located just blocks from the square by 4th and Kirkwood. The home is in close proximity to dining, coffee shops, shopping, night life, and close to Indiana University's campus. Drive just a short distance to Assembly Hall, Memorial Stadium, or other fun happenings around town. At over 100 years old, this home's special qualities have contributed to make Bloomington the unique and beautiful town it is.
Entry into the home is off the back porch, through the laundry room- which offers guests a washer. The home offers 2 bedrooms with queen beds, (the bathroom is attached to one of the bedrooms), a pull out sofa bed, and twin bed located in the finished attic space (careful the stairs are a bit steep). In the kitchen there is a refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, and some seasonings for preparing food. The house offers WiFi but we do not have cable. There is off street parking and a fenced in yard, pets may be considered for an extra $25 pet fee.
https://www.prospecthillneighborhood.org/ This home sits in Prospect Hills, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Bloomington. The architecture of the district represents various "high styles" popular between 1890 and 1925, a time of growing affluence in Bloomington. The neighborhood includes Queen Anne, Free Classic and Period Revival style houses, some designed by prolific Bloomington architect John Nichols. There are also several examples of vernacular style houses, two mid-nineteenth century houses with Greek Revival and Federal details and bungalows and American four-squares of the 1920s. This diverse group of homes is a microcosm of Bloomington's overall residential history.

Comfy beds and a cosy sitting room. We sat on the front porch to eat our breakfast and enjoy the friendly neighborhood. • Amazing location for walking to 4th street restaurants, campus, Kirkwood, and the square. The apartment is very clean and nice.

    Jessica2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful host. Excellent communication. Super clean. Location was great. Great weekend stay for IU game.

    Sonee2018-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • This place could not have a more convenient location. Right next to campus & just a block away from the "main drag" (Kirkwood), I had easy access to a bunch of restaurants, coffee shops & a nice little grocery co-op if you are cooking your own food. It was sparkling clean, with a big dining room table for food/work. Great place to stay!

    Adele2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great. Location fantastic. Getting in and out was a breeze.

  • Great place. Clean, spacious and well maintained. Check-in was very easy, even though we arrived quite late. Management was very responsive and helpful. The location is tremendous. Great place to stay when you are in Bloomington, and can easily accommodate several people.

Quiet peaceful room in the arts district walking distance to downtown Bloomington and Indiana University. Close to shopping, restaurants, IU's campus, B-line trail, Lotus Fest, Hilly Hundred and so much more!
We want you to feel at home when you stay here. Please feel free to use the kitchen, porches, patio, swing, and laundry.
Lots of locals here in the neighborhood professors, graduate students, and families. We love the location since we can walk to Bloomingfoods organic grocery store, live music, Wonderlab, bars, restaurants everything!
  • Wonderful host. Clean accommodations. Way nicer than a hotel at the same price. Would stay there again.

  • Peggy is the best! I arrived just by myself with two huge and one small suitcases, she picked me up the shuttle bus station. She also gave me a lift to look for an apartment, and go to supermarket, gave all sorts of advices about food, shopping and everything. Lucy, her dog, is a good girl. The room is clean and cosy. I spent a great time here.

    Mia2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Peggy is fantastic! Lucy (the dog) is another great touch. Proximity to downtown and to the main bike trail is almost unbeatable. You can get anywhere you want in Bloomington from here. Peggy was a wonderful and accommodating host, thanks again!

    Ben2018-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Peggy is a terrific host that is always quick to respond if you need anything. Her home is exceptionally clean, with lovely little touches (fresh flower while I was there). She makes an amazing breakfast, and if you indicate that you have time for interacting, she is a great conversationalist. I will definitely stay here again.

    Valerie2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Peggy was so kind. Her place is in an awesome location. Check in was quick and easy. Her bed was very comfortable and her place was clean and perfect for our weekend trip.

    Danielle2018-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Peggy was very warm and welcoming. Home was clean and inviting.

    Amy2019-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • As soon as I walked into this house, I felt at home! I haven’t used many Airbnb’s, but Peggy made it so easy with a simple check-in process, detailed instructions, a beautiful home and a DELICIOUS breakfast on the front porch! I would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever in the area!

    Jennifer2018-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Peggy was such a great host! Her home is very clean and close to downtown. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back if we visit Bloomington again.

  • This was a great place, we enjoyed our stay and Bloomington square was really fun with all the college kids out and about.

  • On my way back from the airport from a cancelled flight, I requested to book. They responded in less than an hour. By the time I got to Bloomington, I had a place to stay and instructions on how to check in. The space is SO lovely. The decor was incredible and it was incredible privacy, stylishness, and space. I was blown away, and if I find myself in Bloomington again, I'd pick this place first <3

  • Great location, easy access, exactly as advertised, parking spot was an added bonus. Would absolutely recommend.

    Lucas2019-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • The place was a perfect mix of quirky, clean, and convenient. Literally just steps away from the Bluebird and all downtown Bloomington shops. Plan to stay there again. Can’t recommend enough. Maple Room is HUUUGE!

  • We loved The Cedar Room. We were in a cabin that wasn't the best place for our one year old and wanted to stay and enjoy the leaves. Paige was great and made it easy for a last minute stay. The room was adorable and in a perfect location! Can't wait to go back!

    Erika2016-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • The place was wonderful. Very clean and easy to find. Would definitely stay there again.

    Keenan2016-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place i have book for my parents. They are disapointed not to have contact with you and the place is not really previous for 3. Only 2 cups for breakfast, no blanket for the sofa bed. Wifi is not easy to find. So it's not the perfect experience for them, in France Airbnb is really a way to meet people who live from cities where we go, and it doesn't work like this in the USA

    Mathilde2016-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • It would be hard to beat Bill and Paige's place if you want to be in the middle of all that Bloomington has to offer! Overlooking the downtown square, the apartment was clean and very comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given it's location on a busy street. Reserved off-street parking was a big plus, I could leave my car and walk everywhere. Paige was communicative and my visit was perfect. I visit Bloomington often for work, and I would definitely stay here again.

    Mark2016-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Bill and Paige were extremely accommodating and made our experience in Bloomington one to remember... Next time I come back they will absolutely be the first people I go to. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable for our stay. They deserve the highest recommendation.

    Dougie2016-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great place and location to stay at in Bloomington.

    Dan2017-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay in the cedar suite at the walnut inn! Great location in town. It rained the night we were there so there wasn't much street noise as others have said. Mainly just heard other people staying at the inn coming and going. Wish it had been a queen bed but it was still comfortable. Even had real cream for coffee in the morning which was a nice touch. Everything you would need for a comfortable nights stay. It wasn't important to our trip but they had great tv as my husband was able to watch his college basketball team play.

    Michelle2016-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great location in the center of everything, clean, well-kept, a convenient check-in, and an incredible value. Only concern was that the location can get loud, but this was anticipated by the hosts and they provided ear plugs if needed. Also, the space is still a great deal considering all the advantages. I would definitely stay again.

We are walking distance from Indiana University (9 blocks), Bloomington downtown square (4 blocks), Bloomington bus transit center (4 blocks), and Monroe county convention center (3 blocks). • Nice AirBnB place. Easily within walking distance of food and entertainment (we went to the comedy attic). Felt safe in the neighborhood (even at night). Dedicated parking space was really nice (hard parking in college town). Had our own door/code so we could come and go at our discretion and didn't feel like we were bothering anyone.

    Matthew2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • This inn is perfect for a quiet night stay and quick breakfast in the morning. Beautiful, sustainable touches all throughout the room including little bars of soap. Will definitely be staying here again!
