  • Great little private living quarter with a private bathroom. The place was clean and quiet, the bed was very comfortable. Jagan is a great host, if you are in Las Cruces this place is perfect.

    Shannon2016-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • Jagan's place was cozy, comfy, and welcoming. After a 3.5 hour drive at 3:30am, then straight to working for 6.5 hours, it was really nice to just show up and take a very long nap. Jagan's place had everything I needed -stocked, keys were available to me, and all my needs were met. The private room has character and very personable. Pictures taken from his daughter was an awesome touch and the mini library had a nice variety of books. The neighborhood definitely reflected the historical downtown environment, next time I will have to find time to visit the bookstore Jagan recommended in his welcome binder (very thorough, by the way) I totally recommend his place.

  • Adorable charming vintage-decor space with many caring details. Spotlessly clean. Quiet lovely street. Parking right outside private entry door. Great farmer's market, walking distance. Welcoming host.

    Alicia2017-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Jagan's place is really cool, and it's in a great location. The studio has everything you need, and it's very comfortable. You can walk to restaurants and other cool places downtown. You can also walk to the local bus station and take the bus pretty much anywhere in Las Cruces (much cheaper than uber). Definitely would stay here again. I highly recommend it.

    Andrew2019-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Jagan’s place was perfect. No issues, no questions, and exactly what we needed. It was perfect for two people with everything you might need. The price was fantastic. Would certainly stay there again in the future.

    Jakob2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great little studio that was maintained very well. Jagan was also very responsive and closeby in case I needed anything.

    Mahrin2016-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Jagan was a wonderful host! Very responsive and accommodating. The place was perfect for someone passing through La Cruces and I am very grateful for my stay.

    Spencer Kate2018-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • A good little studio that is clean and comfortable. Easy access and good value. Keep in mind that because it is a studio there's no kitchen for a lot of cooking and cleaning dishes! But I got by making a couple simple meals. Bed is comfortable but for two people note that one side of the bed is against a wall so can't just jump in and out easily. I was single so not a problem for me! Jagan was out of town while I was staying in the studio so I didn't meet him personally. Nonetheless he communicated well and there were no issues.

  • Faith and her husband were the nicest AirBNB hosts I have ever had. They were extremely accommodating and they were just genuine, friendly people. The casita was also much cuter and cozier than I expected with tasteful decorative touches - the pictures don't do it justice. It was sparkling clean, had a comfortable bed, and was in a quiet neighborhood. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed staying here!

    Hannah2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • My Fiancé and I stayed at Faith's studio on a road trip through New Mexico, and we loved it! We were greeted by Faith and her husband as soon as we arrived, which made us feel super safe and welcomed! The casita was fitted with so many thoughtful features, especially the kitchenette! Also, there is a grocery store and Walgreens extremely close by (just a 3 minute drive) which really came in handy for us since we had to restock on food before we hit the road again. Also, this place was so CLEAN! I can't tell you how nice it feels to walk in to a nice clean space after 12 hours of being in your car! I would absolutely stay here again!

    Eric2016-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • We felt incredibly welcomed by Faith. She included breakfast for us for the next morning, which was an incredible surprise.

    Tanner2016-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Faith and her husband were very welcoming. They greeted me outside even though I arrived much later than I expected to due to my miscalculation of travel time. Faith had turned on the a.c. for me to assure I was comfortable. The place for the workshop had in Las Cruces turned out to be only 3 minutes away due to the very central location of their place. I loved staying in their casita, it was very quiet and the little breakfast was perfect before a day of work. Thank you for a great stay!

    Ivonne2017-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is the cutest Casita. Great kitchenette with a light breakfast included and Faith was very quick to check in on us.

    Andi2018-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Faith's casita had everything we could have needed. The closet was very spacious to hold all of our luggage and the water pressure in the shower was superb! There was a binder full of recommendations on things to do and places to eat as well as a few light snacks and coffee. The space was very clean and quaint, and faith was Kind and accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here!

    Robin2016-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • The casita was so charming and clean, we loved staying there. We will definitely stay here again!

  • I was traveling on personal business and wanted to staying the downtown area. This location was perfect and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and I slept well.

    Tony2019-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Convenient to the 10 for those passing through. Apartment is a bit cold in winter but there are space heaters provided - it is a bit noisy being right on the road and I did wake to a train whistle around 5am but if you wake early anyway like me it’s no big deal.

    Morgan2018-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Maria's place is sparkly clean and in a great location. The bathroom is cute and updated with thick, luxurious towels. The bed is super comfortable with a cozy duvet. This was our second stay and we'll keep coming back whenever in Las Cruces!

    Mindy2019-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Maria’s place was so cute and cozy. It looks exactly like the photos and is incredibly clean. My boyfriend and I stayed here while visiting white sands and the apartment was centrally located to a lot of fun things to do. Maria was quick to reply and help out when I had questions, the space was nice and cool with both heating and cooling options available. The bed was nice and comfortable and a small kitchen area was just what we needed for breakfast in the mornings. She provided a great list of places to eat and things to see! I would absolutely stay here again, Maria made our road trip just that much easier and more comfortable.

  • It was a clean house located in a nice neighborhood. Very close to fun things to do. Esther was very accommodating.

    Colleen2015-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • We never meet Esther but she was quick t o reply to messages. The place was clean and bed was comfy. Our only complaint was that the only soap we saw was, that he soap that, was obviously used by others. There was not enough body wash left in the bottle for both of us so I used shampoo as soap. Other than that it was exactly like the pictures. Ate a restaurant about 2 or 3 blocks down the street. The restaurant which is rt across the street was not open for dinner nor was it ooen for breakfast before 8 am. But there are plenty of restaurants around.

    Trudy2015-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so cute! You'll love it. Just book it already.

    Jeff2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, fun to watch children, teens and dogs walk and play in the nearby park. Coffee shop and restaurant owners and staff are friendly too. Place is furnished nicely, great bed and linens!

    Katharine2018-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Esther was a wonderful host and accommodated us with our check-in time because we were driving. Although we ended up coming late, we fell in love with her home! It is beautiful and provided us with everything that we needed. Would definitely recommend this cute gem of a home to anyone!

    Louis2016-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy place to stay. Bonus is a kitchen in the unit as well as local restaurant across the street.

    Joyce2016-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • What a charming casita!! I loved staying here while I was in Las Cruces. It genuinely felt like a home away from home, and I loved the decor. The A/C worked wondrously even though it was really hot when I was there. The bed was super comfortable. Esther was lovely, as well--when I needed help getting inside, she literally drove to the casita to help me inside (I was accidentally standing outside of the wrong building, which is why I had trouble). I would definitely stay here again!

    Ashley2019-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great, cozy, clean, comfortable place for our stay in Las Cruces after camping out at White Sands. For two days, left the car parked and was able to get to things within walking distance: a nice coffee shop and a Mexican restaurant just across the street, a superb pizza place that makes their own bread and pasta, and one of the best used bookstores I've had the pleasure of visiting (Coas on Main). Highly recommend staying here if you're alone or a couple.

We walked to breakfast each morning to several different restaurants. And the farmers market was 2 blocks away. Emily's little airbnb is a must experience place for first timers or seasoned airbnb users.

It's within walking distance to restaurants, the downtown area, and the Wed./Sat. markets as well as half a block to a bus stop should you want to leave your car and ride. I hope to go back soon.

  • House has a 2-bedroom setup but not much by way of privacy between them. Other than that it's a nice setup with basically anything you'd need from an overnight to a weeklong stay. Parking is on the street but the neighborhood is quaint with a quiet calm park across the street. Easy access to the rest of Las Cruces and he surrounding area, as well as central location to cultural/historical elements of the city.

  • Thank you for letting me stay at your casita. It was exactly as described and as others have reviewed it; it is a clean, conveniently located small house in Las Cruces. • This a very quiet house located in a 1/2 residential 1/2 commercial area - the first night it was so quiet it took a bit to adjust. It has a full kitchen- full size refrigerator, really nice living room with TV and the bedroom had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in (I meant to ask about the mattress). I really appreciated the refrigerator and the washer/dryer as my trip kept getting extended. I enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend it for people who have business downtown. Parking was always easy and it was so quiet.

An amazing space in a renovated triplex. It is clean with lots of natural light (2 sunlights). I'm seeking one to six month stays so please contact me if you need something like this.
Unique and cozy 1952 bungalow in downtown Las Cruces. Available for vacation or short-term rental. The price for longer stays is negotiable. One person is ideal although two people fit comfortably. This unit is one of three bungalows in a renovated triplex - I live in the back unit and a non-profit agency occupies the front unit. It is 500sq. ft. with a queen size bed (memory foam), bathroom (shower), fully equipped kitchen, and central AC/heating. It has a new television and free wi-fi. On street parking. Contemporary shared patios create an inviting space for relaxing. Sunrises and sunsets in NM are spectacular and the patios offer great vantage points.
Las Cruces has much to offer. The Las Cruces Farmers and Crafts Market is three blocks away as are a number of museums, theatres, art galleries, parks, and local favorite food spots. New Mexico State University is about three miles away. One drawback about being downtown is that you can hear the train at night. A preschool is two doors down so children can be heard playing during the day.
  • Cool and comfy spot close to the amenities of Las Cruces Main St. Michelle has rehabbed these units into a great apartments for the weary traveler. I’ll be back!

  • We really enjoyed staying at Michelle's charming apartment. It is close to downtown so you can walk to museums and restaurants. It's clean and comfortable. There was a nice bowl of organic fruit waiting for us. A nicely supplied kitchen to make a meal. She's very nice, gave us some great tips. We would definitely stay here again!

  • This was my second stay and I highly recommend Michelle's place to anyone. The location is great, the neighborhood is wonderfully interesting, the "apartment" is well appointed and very comfortable. Michelle is available for any help but not intrusive, just the way I like it. And my little dog was welcome, too.

    Catherine2015-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Michelle's place was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in the area.

  • Our stay at Michelle’s place was nothing short of amazing. It was quiet, clean and in a great location. Michelle was super accommodating when we decided to extend our stay for a few more nights and check in a little earlier. We highly recommend!

  • Wow - Michelle's place really is a retro gem! It is darling and Michelle has it stocked with all the comforts of home, including a bowl of fresh fruit, granola, coffee and tea and lovely touches like quality soaps and shampoos. Michelle is an excellent hostess - she is quick to respond and she provided great suggestions on where to eat & visit. Next time I am in town I hope to stay with her again. Fabulous!

  • Dora's apartment is clean and filled with all the amenities one needs to be comfortable and relaxed. Plenty of dishes and counter space to cook a fine meal. Extra blankets to keep you warm, and lovely living room to kick back in. The apartment is located right outside of the art museum and natural science museum of las cruces. If you happen to stay on a weekend you'll even get to check out the farmer's market on the that same strip.

If you are looking for a special place to stay in the historic Alameda Depot District, the Vincent May house may be just right for you. It is an Arts and Crafts style home with 11 ft ceilings, hardwood floors, an updated kitchen, and a claw foot tub. Window ACs in bedrooms and evaporative cooler in the rest of house.
The house was built in 1908 and has over 30 windows, characteristic eye brow dormers, and a wonderful front porch.
The historic Alameda Depot neighborhood is centrally located in the heart of Las Cruces. A beautiful park is one block away and the Las Cruces Farmers and Crafts Market is held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Museums, theatres, and art galleries are within walking distance.

  • What a great start to our road trip! Jagan has a lovely home in a great location. He was timely with communication and made sure to meet us upon arrival. He suggested great local markets and restaurants. Thank you so much Jagan. We will be back!

  • Very kind host. The place is as advertised. Historical and charming. It isn’t the most updated or modern but that’s the point :) we loved the high ceilings and wide open space . And the spacious desk to work on was great. The gardens were a beautiful touch and very cozy

    Despina2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • This house was beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Japan left out information about activities and places to visit in town which was a helpful touch.

  • Nice place.

  • What a great reprieve after a long day at the White Sands National Monument. Wish we had stopped at the house first, there were sleds in the closet. The beds are super comfortable and we kept gushing about how charming and nice the house was. I'd stay there over and over again.

    Tess2018-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great house in quiet neighborhood. Feels spacious with the high ceilings. Nice xeriscaping in yard. Jagan lives across the street so he is close if you need something, but otherwise he gives you space. I would definitely stay there again.

    Robert2017-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Jagan's house is absolutely beautiful. The work that he has put into the restoring/updating is outstanding. He was diligent in making sure we were warm enough and had everything in the house that we needed. This house is centrally located and close to many areas of interest in Las Cruces. The neighborhood is an absolute gem and very quiet. If I ever find myself down in Las Cruces again, I hope that I am able to stay here and see the new work that Jagan has put into the property.

Casita Blanca is a tiny bungalow with private entrance located in a 1880's Hacienda compound. Tucked away inside the massive adobe walls is this cute lil casita with a brand new bathroom, kitchenette with microwave, coffee and tea station, sink, table and chairs. Bedroom and living space are combined and include a plush king bed, 2 cozy side chairs and ottomans. *No TV, no stove* Follow us on Instagram @hacienda_de_las_cruces!
Because of the steps up to and the narrow door to this suite, the space is not wheelchair accessible. Also, while we do not have cable TV, you can access movies and shows through our Hacienda Netflix account or login to your own account while you are with us!
Alameda-Depot neighborhood is centrally located and within walking distance to downtown, parks, restaurants, live performance theaters, yoga, post office, museums, and farmer's market on Wednesdays and Fridays.
  • Comfortable bed and clean space with interesting decor. Kitchen was basic, not a place to cook meals in but nice for coffee, snacks, basic breakfast. Good place to stay!

    Roxanne2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • The absolute perfect stay! This dreamy little space feels like your own private little haven. Immaculately clean, the comfiest bed, and every little corner was filled with thoughtful touches. Tamera and Eric thought of literally everything you would need to give you the feel of spa-like relaxation in your own beautiful, private villa. The historical charm of the space was kept, which I loved, while impeccably stylish and inspired decor details were added. I already can’t wait to be back!

  • Deborah's place is an excelent value - and it actually a little bigger than the pictures portray. Bed was super comfy. There's a train nearby and school across the street - didn't bother me because I like those noises - otherwise very quiet. Was able to walk to old town Las Cruces for Food Truck Wednesday and it was awesome. Thanks Deborah!

  • Clara's Nest is an absolutely lovely and charming place to stay in a great location in Las Cruces. Tamera and Eric have done a fabulous job of renovating and decorating. The bed is super comfortable, we appreciated the robes and slippers provided. We loved walking around the neighborhood and were also able to walk to downtown museums and events. A short drive to the nearby town of Mesilla provided many and varied eating opportunities. It was quiet and peaceful -- we enjoyed time to just read and relax in a beautiful, comfortable historic home. We would highly recommend staying at Clara's Nest!

    Terry T.2016-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Jagan's place was the ABSOLUTE BEST experience that I had with AirBNB so far! This place was perfect for me and my boyfriend. We actually used his place a a pit stop to get a nights rest between a hectic road trip. The place was so peaceful, CLEAN and comfortable we only wished that we could have stayed for more than one night. PLUS THE BED WAS REALLY COMFORTABLE. Not only was the place perfect, the host was one of the friendliest people I have encountered on a very long time. He met us at the property (even left work early) provided us with all the information we needed, and was so friendly. I would definitely stay here again!! Jagan is the best!!

  • Jagan's place was exactly what we needed, a place to stay along the drive from California to Austin, TX. He is very friendly and kindly welcomed us even though we didn't arrive until 11pm. The apartment is clean and has everything you'd need. He even had some coffee for us to make in the morning and suggested a breakfast place in town called The Shed. We took the local advice and ate some breakfast burritos there before hitting the road. Their salsa is AWESOME. I'd stop at Jagan's and The Shed again if I were passing through.

  • Judy is a gracious host and person. I highly recommend staying with her if the opportunity arises. Aside from a comfortable bed, nice bathroom, full kitchen, beautiful backyard and garden, and historic location, she is an extremely kind and generous person. I stayed with her for four nights and felt warmly welcomed from her initial greeting. When I arrived to her home I had a bad viral illness and ended up staying in bed for the majority of my visit. Judy cared for me as a mother would, and I recall thinking there wasn't a better Airbnb that I could have stayed at. I am immensely grateful to have met Judy and feel lucky that I stayed with her during this time.

Super close to the downtown district, wonderful local restaurants and businesses.
  • Great central location, well stocked kitchen. Cute, older home. Unfortunately, there were shoe prints in the kitchen that indicated the floor had not been mopped prior to our arrival, and lots of cobwebs in the bathroom window sill. Additionally, I was charged for a towel that I can say with 100% certainty I put in the laundry as instructed. I am a Las Cruces native but will not be staying here again on future trips.

    Gayle2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Casita Arriba is a gem - a very large, well-appointed room in a beautiful New Orleans colonial house, with a lovely expanse of lawn. The bed was very comfortable; I slept very well both nights of my stay. There are also a couple of nice big comfy chairs - great for reading. The fridge, microwave, and toaster oven were just enough to allow me to reheat take-out meals and food that I had brought along. My favorite feature by far, though, was the second-story porch set with a small table and two chairs. I spent a lot of time sitting there - reading, enjoying the fresh air, and bird- and people-watching. The location is great, with easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and museums. And the "steep stairway" that Emily mentions in her write-up was not quite as daunting as I had anticipated. It helps that there's a landing midway up the stairs, allowing a person to set luggage down for a moment before continuing. That said, I recommend bringing along a small suitcase or backpack for however many nights you choose to stay. A large suitcase would be rather unwieldy on the stairs.

  • Nancy is a good host, funny and interesting, good hearted. Inclusive but also respects privacy. Great shower and soft yellow towels. Gorgeous rug collection. Great location.

    Aurelia2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • What a cool little Airbnb! Nancy is a lovely person with a ton of character, and has some really cool travel stories. I didn’t need her help throughout my stay, but I have no doubt she would’ve been more than accommodating had I needed anything. The place itself is full of Persian and Middle Eastern decor - rugs, paintings, statues, tables, cushions, books - making for one of the more eclectic Airbnbs I’ve ever seen. I definitely spent time wandering around and checking everything out. Just FYI: the bathroom is on the main floor, the master bedroom is up a small flight of stairs, and the bunk beds are down six or seven stairs. Wasn’t a problem for me, but just make sure you know stairs are involved for bathroom usage from the bedrooms. Great place! Thanks, Nancy!

  • I wouldn’t recommend this for a family with toddlers.

    Sheri2019-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • We were in town for a family reunion and absolutely enjoyed this location. This rental sits smack dab in the middle of town which make everything very convenient. We felt very much at home given that Nancy does her best to make sure you do not go without. The living room though is what makes this place a great selection. Besides two couches, you have cushions all throughout as additional seating/sleeping space. May sound odd but believe me you will definitely enjoy, we did. Highly recommend!!

    Richard2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • My team of 6 and I stayed at Nancy’s casita for 1 week and it was nothing less than perfect. We all slept very comfortably. The house was clean and very well organized. Mrs. Jabari was a sweetheart and one of the best hosts I have had. I look forward to staying at her place in the future!
